The end of the rainbow and my pot of gold was seeing my friend open her gift and the excitement that came with it. I even found a big red "santa sack" aka pillowcase to wrap it up in. So awesome to give it to her. She immedaitely put it on her bed where it FITS PERFECTLY and looks AWESOME!
YAY.
For more of the trials and tribulations in creating this check out this post: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=428607.0#axzz2pIzmpzeF (hope I did that right!)

Here are some photos:

Figuring out which pattern to choose... then...

Border I made up with some brides and a join. Came out looking like a pinkingedge which i was going for.
So happy with the whole project. It looks so cool
Photos were taken in a bed store. All the stores round where I live have got used to me coming in with random blankets to put on their beds. Lol

Scholars and artists...differ most importantly in the way their knowledge is come by.  Scholars get theirs with conscientious thoroughness along projected lines of logic; poets...stick to nothing deliberately, but let what will stick to them like burrs where they walk in the fields.

I remember your first post, and it is great to se the result. I was afraid it would be to bright, but the black borders ties it up very nicely. It is very, very lovely. (And you made me laugh with your comment about the stores being used to you coming with random blankets to pun on their beds!  Grin)
