I'm so excited for this! My first beanie! My first finished anything after trying out a couple of single and double crochet scarves.

I saw some nice Sailor Moon crochet hats online, but they were too expensive to buy. But I really wanted to see my niece wearing one - I thought it would be super awesome, haha. So I learned to crochet and I made my own.

I will probably adjust it a little more over the time... make the hat longer, so I can fold it up more... there was a weird piece where I kind of left a knot and now it's ugly. And other assorted imperfections, Tongue. But, like I said, I am happy with it!

Ha! I'd love to see that on a little girl in the streets one day! So funny! And wow, your first beanie? You did great! I don't see any imperfections at alll. Hope you keep crocheting and we see more of your stuff! Especially if it's Sailor Moon stuff! Smiley

I am not much of a Sailor Moon fan, but that hat is awesome!

Excellent job with that. You could theoretically expand it into an almost life-size Sailor Moon amigurumi if you wanted to.
