Lovely and fun pages. I love the cat....so much personality and the butterfly is beautiful.

I too have been too busy to journal. Work has kicked up a level and there is this pesky problem of a half demolished guest room and only 3 weekends to patch, paint, install new flooring and trim. We are having a house full of guest in april. Oh, I have to find enough floor space in the craft room for two cots as well. They probably would like some walking room too.  Where has all the time gone?

Well, lets add to that vent about the poopie backing into the tubbie when my tenant does laundry at my rental place. He is currently using mine at my house. The laundry, I mean...he has another bathroom  Grin

And not knowing a good plumber to come to take care of it. I have currently fired 4 of them. They are dummies.
I don't know who to call for this project, but it sounds like you have your hands full, too.

Home repairs and remodels are never a good time...and with company expected???

Heh kids  Grin Idea for a venting journal page??? Journal prompt...not required, just suggested... Let's paint/art/design some bathtubs, and windows, quilts, rugs, new faucets....some spring time ideas of how we wish to change things for the better? Flowers and gardens come to mind, too. A "Look Forward to April, May, June" page. Whatever that means to you. Just ideas...nothing set in stone.

I think I will journal my artwork for the gardens that I plan, and use colored pencil and pen to design where to put my plants and things. To get a visual image of how I wish it to look. Just some thoughts, for anyone stuck without their own true vision, yet.

o-o-o I hate the poopie backing up into the tubbie thing. Happend to us once too. Turned out to be an almost plugged up shower that was somehow emptying into things the wrong way....or was it the other way around. Good luck with the plumber.

But I like the venting journal page idea. And a home repair page. And pending guests are the only way we really get projects done! A couple of our best friends from Maine are coming and what's funny is that if there was no floor and holes in the walls, they would not mind! They came once when we had been out of power for a week, the floors were all grimy from tracking in sand from the driveway and it was cold in the house. We had a grand time!

I have a dragon, it may help fire out all of the poop that people are talking about. (metaphorically at least?)

Yup. enough talk about sh*t. Your dragon is really neat, Renstar. If only I could get it to blast out the drains  Cheesy
I am into the current puzzle swap for two rounds at the same time. But it has gotten me to hand letter and journal things for the cards, and envelopes, so my handwriting is developing for my journaling.

I played a bit in the car today {I have a driver!} and made out some of the return cards. That was fun with all of our curvey streets and squirrelly corners  Grin I wanted them to look hand-done...and they do! A bump in the road, and a bump on the page  Shocked But I am sure my fine friends here will not mind.

I have been saving all kinds of things to put in my journals...and I will add this here...{Mods, don't spank me.}
I have a punch that I make mini envies with. You can see a sample on my pinterest made by me site.
They are small. Folded 1 1/2" wide x 1" tall. I am willing to share them with anyone interested in receiving them for use in journal or scrapbook pages. They go good in a lunch box, too. For a special pick-me-up. with a tiny note?
Just PM me, and we can work out details. I have so much paper laying around. It would be nice to share it  Grin
Sorry, this just seemed to be a good place to add that.

Hey check out this call for entries for an upcoming art journal book. It's free and may be a chance to get your pages published. We are all excellent candidates for this!

Ah! I entered the page I made for AIMR. Totally on a whim and with zero expectations, but fun!

Thanks for the heads up, cmarion3! I hope you entered something, too. Smiley

Sorry to hear you were sick Avesthel. I hope you're better now.

Lovely glittery dragon Renstar. He looks very determined.
