I'm back from my honeymoon and ready to get started on my journal!
Here are a few pictures, even though I still want to redo the "binder" part of it:

This is the picture of the bench that my now husband proposed to me at that I doodled one day at work that inspired an idea of the journal.

Here's the journal cover. I used a weird textured, thin paper that bubbled up because I used too much PVA. I cut out a design in cardstock and put it over it and painted it all in a metallic green...

Here is the inside. I bought some cheapy watercolour paper and cut it down to size, along with some cardstock, and I tore apart a free travel journal that my grandmother had gotten on a cruise she went on.

I think I saved every single scrap of ephemera from out trip to use in the journal. I started a watercolour painting one night, but that was the only night I had time to do any kind of crafting on the whole trip, so I'm going to work on finishing that first.

Darn! I just realised that I spelled cemetery wrong... Well, I am from the South, and it is phonetically correct... I'll just crop it and write around the little painting, I guess. Whoops.

I love the theme idea here. Not that it would be required, but just a push for someone who has that artist block for something new to think about.

Congrats on your honeymoon, meowari...of course you did not have time to craft. Unless you spread ketchup on his chest and had french fries  Grin There is a ketchup painter on YouTube that is very interesting. Check it out!

For some reason I can't get the other coffee ATC scans to load. I did a swap for another site, and have three more I could share for ideas. It says file undefined, but they were all saved the same way, at the same time.
This silly box drives me crazy sometimes, but I know I am not alone with this {all you sideways photo people  Roll Eyes}

Anyways, I will see about adding them in my pinterest under an ATC file. That site seems to cooperate with my limited computer skills best. Shocked

I will post back and give you a link when I have them in.

~T

And we are in...I still have more to add, but hopefully the coffee ones will stay at the top. Feel free to browse...and I don't mind if you borrow my ideas. You could never actually copy them. They are one of a kind. I couldn't even duplicate them if I wanted to. Enjoy!

You can spill other things besides coffee - wine, juice, paint pretending to be coffee, tea or wine!

And about themed pages, I am doing this somewhere else and it's proving challenging and not in a good way. I finished one page, I'm trying to finish the second and everyone is posting and asking for more. So it's a bit daunting trying to keep up with these work-from-home types who can add a bit every hour (or so it seems to me).

But maybe challenges like the coffee-spill idea and leave it open-ended for two weeks or a month?....just my 2 cents.

Here's my second page, inspired by the song "There Must Be An Angel" by Eurythmics, one of my favorite songs and fun to sing even if I can't hit the high notes.  Smiley

Beautiful pages are appearing every time I take a peek.

I don't have anything beautiful to share but I have actually bound my pages into a book now.

Smmarrt, I don't think the idea was meant here to be a requirement. Just suggestions...in case you get stuck for something to create. I still love to see all the different stuff. If all we have is coffee, tea, and wine stains {and hot cocoa} that would be boring. So please feel free to create however you wish. My next one is RAIN. But today we are snowing  Tongue. I thought to take my watercolor papers outside in the rain, and experiment with the paints using actual raindrops. Maybe I will see what snow and salt does  Grin

Adding an additional link for my coffee pages on my pinterest {same one I posted above}
