Happy Birthday to me!  Think I'll do something really fun like go to work  Tongue  Would rather be crafting!  (Or sleeping - sleeping would be good!)

Made a claim today - I had to finish a huge sewing project first, a super custom kids outfit.  And then it didn't fit the kid because 1. mom measured totally wrong, and 2. the kid grew a ton!   He is 2 and the outfit fits my 6.5yr old but is too small for the 2yr old.  Too bad my kid doesn't like Thomas the Train... and now I get to remake the whole thing.    Cry

Ah well, I'm taking a break and doing some birthday sewing instead!

That's a big 2 year old  Shocked  My granddaughter is like that - she towers over all the kids her age.  Was it a gift or a commission?  It's hard to stay motivated on a project when you're doing the exact same thing a SECOND time!

So, everyone has a list up now ... and a few more claims have been made.  Can't wait until we all start receiving!  Remember, FOCs can have 3 claims out at a time and others can have 2 out  Grin

One more day of work tomorrow and then I can get back to crafting!!  Hope everyone is doing GREAT!!

I received a GENEROUS and BEAUTIFUL package from our lovely organizer today!

Unfortunately, I am unable to post photos so I hope she does soon, b/c these items NEED to be seen.

Here are the descriptions:

-A full apron (DH lost mine that I received in a previous swap.  Sad).  It is made with an apple and bumblebee fabric, which is perfect, since I'm a teacher and my screen name is...well, you know...  Anyhow, it has two pockets and a ruffle on the bottom and when I wear it I feel like Suzy Homemaker!  Grin
-Two fabric covered headbands...one with the same fabric as the apron, and one with ladybug fabric.  My students are going to LOVE seeing these...they love the different jewelry, etc...I come to work in, and even my boss mentioned it during my recent evaluation!  Thanks Craftster!
-A fabric pouch made out of the ladybug fabric and what looks to me like watermelon seed fabric, with a cute red ribbon with white flowers on it on the zipper.  I am hard on my pouches, as I hold the crafting items I use everyday in them, and the storebought pouches just don't last (and aren't as pretty).
-Two postcards (one for me, one for my classroom)
-The coolest postcard-style note

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING!  I LOVE IT ALL!

Finished one claim, and it's going in the mail today! I even remembered to take a picture of it.

This swap is helping me to get through a long, cold Pennsylvania January.
