Gosh, a lot can happen in a single day! I sent a package to aunty.hela today.

AND I received TWO packages -- one from LadybugsandBumblebees, and one from leighi123. Both were filled with all kinds of birthday delights.

From LadybugsandBumblebees, a lovely crocheted market bag, a fabric bookmark, and a swatch of cute, leafy green fabric.

From leighi123, a set of beautiful fabric coasters and an equally beautiful luggage tag.

Thank you both! Photos to follow.

Meanwhile, I have photos of the sweet package I received from our fearless leader, phnxreign99.

When I opened the box, there was this knit fleece fabric. The note suggested that I use it, along with some pink, to make a coat for my dog Brooke. Here's Brooke modeling the raw material for her next piece of clothing:

Imagine my smile when I found, underneath the fabric, this convenient little stash:

I'm enjoying a piece as I type.

Then, the thing I was expecting, but it's much more beautiful than I had anticipated. A threadcatcher/pincushion/sewing caddy featuring -- you guessed it -- a green print! I love this.

Thank you so much, phnxreign99. You really nailed it!

I am FINALLY back online ... consistently!  For over a week now I could get on but would get booted off in the middle of a post or whenever my computer decided to kick me off.  Still not quite sure what the problem is, but it's fixed for now!

Glad you liked your package, zcrafter!  Hope it works out for you - I made it up as I went along  Grin

OK ... things are looking pretty good around here as far as finishing up this swap.  Thanks to my fellow January babies for your great communication and follow up  Cool

I received a package from aunty.hela. It's beautiful stuff -- two pairs of earrings inspired by my wists AND the cutest button bracelet ever. I'll take pictures, but it will be a few days before I can post them, since I have to use a computer at work to get the pictures off my camera.

BUT I do have pictures of the goodies from LadybugsAndBumblebees AND leighi123. Take a look at all this crafty goodness.

First, from LadybugsAndBumblebees, a super-duper crocheted market bag in a gorgeous shade of teal AND a cute fabric bookmark.

Everything was wrapped in that sweet paper with the trees on it. Thank you, LadybugsAndBumblebees, for remembering that I love tree designs. The paper will surely find its way into some of my paper crafting. There was also a piece of tree themed fabric that I love.

Here's a closeup of the bookmark. The reverse side is a different print, but I forgot to get a picture of that.

Next, the goodness sent by leighi123. She also used green -- imagine that. It's my favorite color! And her son helped to choose the fabric for this set of coasters AND a luggage tag.

What a beautiful job you did on the sewing, leighi123. Here's the design side of the luggage tag with a simply irresistible leaf applique. Also one of the coasters in use.

I am so spoiled by so many swap partners. Thank you, everyone!

And here at last are the photos I promised of the goodies from aunty.hela! She is an awesome jewelry maker, and I just love the things she sent.

Button bracelet just like the one I was admiring, and two, yes two, pairs of earrings inspired by my wists.

They were all tucked into that pretty little sheer bag, which I also love.

A couple of "action shots":

I wore one pair of the earrings to work today, and every time I looked in a mirror, I smiled.

Thank you so much, aunty.hela. You tailored everything to my tastes and wishes!

I received a lovely and generous birthday package from zcrafter yesterday!  It was a llloonnnggg day for me yesterday, so the package was VERY welcomed!

I can't post or take photos, so please enjoy the following description of the items:

-a cute music themed note that I am going to keep the front of to re-use
-an oval shaped wood hoop with the word 'O'hana' embroidered on it!  This has been on my wishlist for awhile and I'm thrilled to receive it!  It looks like she used three different stitches, and two of my favorite colors (orange and turquoise).  I've been walking thru our apartment with it in my hands, trying to figure out the best place to hang it!   Cheesy
-a bag of multi-colored pom-poms
-a sheet of Disney themed stickers, and a sheet of Easter themed stickers
-a heart shaped, American flag themed applique
-a beautiful piece of lace that looks as if it came from my wedding dress!  Cheesy
-a funny Punxsutawney Phil postcard of the groundhog with a bow tie, holding a wine glass, with a bottle of wine in his top hat on the floor!  It's so funny!  It will be going on my Craftster post-card bulletin board in my craft room!   Grin
-two historical postcards
-a TON of fabric that I LOVE-my fav is the jungle themed fabric-and I think there's some there that I can use for the 'Box of Color' swap (my partner likes vintage themes).
-4 mechanical pencils

ANNNNDD...she had wrapped the hoop in white tissue paper with orange thread of varying tones of orange...I'm saving that too!

SUCH A GENEROUS PACKAGE and so thoughtful....all of these things were on my list of wants....

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(Oh, I'm even saving the box to mail out a swap package!  Grin Roll Eyes)

So glad you liked everything, LadybugsAndBumblebees. And you even noticed the orange thread on the package!

I took pictures before mailing. I'll post them in a few days.

Loving all the great stuff ... the market bag, the button bracelet, the coasters - actually, there's nothing I wouldn't want for myself!  Thanks for posting all those pictures, zcrafter!  I know it's a time consuming part of the swap  Tongue
