Love the boot cuffs!  Have been wanting to make some for myself, but don't have any great boots to pair them with currently...  Would look funny with the ones I have Wink

Sorry for taking a while to post photos of the blanket that was sent to me...  This snow storm is kicking our butts in Niagara, and is difficult to find time to go to the US to get it while the PO is open...  Will get it on Saturday at the very (very) latest!

In the meantime, off I go to stalk February participants..........  Smiley

I received the cutest valentine pin cushion in a vintage tart pan and a scissor fob from Gamemom42. Thanks so much for choosing such cute items and for the trouble you went to to find a vintage tart pan. (I wondered what you were looking for.) That little scissor fob is so precious. I just love the tiny buttons.

Thank you for claiming me.

I received another package of cuteness, this time from Happylittleclam. She claimed me for knitted puffy owls and sent me a whole family. Here's a side view so that you can see their puffiness.

Here is the little one already hanging in my office.

Here are the other two (they are a bit bigger) together. They are charming winter ornaments and I love the colors she chose.

Thanks for claiming me and thanks for these happy little owls.

I'm glad you like your pincushions.  I love the scissor fob too and never knew I needed one til I made yours.

The little owls are adorable!  I'm thinking more and more lately about hanging ornaments to use in my home through-out the year.  I love the idea of something cute to hang from my craft room bulletin board.

I was very lucky to be claimed by three talented Craftsters. I love all of my goodies. I can't wait until my partners receive the items I claimed for them. I was late in sending, but they should receive on Monday.

Annchen claimed me for crocheted socks!  I was really happy to be claimed for these and had every intention of slipping them on my own little feet as soon as they arrived.  Well, when I saw them I knew (sadly) that they weren't meant for me.  Sure; they were made for me, but they are perfect for my oldest daughter in color, style, size... everything.  They will be one of the best Valentine gifts I've ever given her and she will be thrilled!

Aren't they perfect?  Thank you so much Annchen!

Gingerknitter claimed me this round too!  She claimed me for one thing and then decided to surprise me with something else.  Well, I can't tell you how happy I am that she changed the claim.  I have wanted this knights helmet forever!  This will go in the trunk I've started for my youngest daughter's someday child.  That daughter is a history teacher and has been obsessed with history all her life.  She is also obsessed with knitted and crocheted beanies so I'm collecting as many as I can for her future child/children.

It's really hard to get a proper picture of it without it on a head but hopefully you can tell how magnificent it is.

Thank you so much Gingerknitter!

I am glad you like it! I was much happier with making that for you! I hope the recipient enjoys it tremendously.

Also, lucky duck! The socks are fantastic! Love the cable detailing. Looks like the yarn is bigger so I'm sure they are super cushy!

The yarn is aran weight I think... We make a lot of thick socks in Sweden so it's quite common with thick sock yarns. It's great on cold floors or as extra insulation inside a winter boot. Smiley

I'm planning a trip to the post office tomorrow to see if they're hiding my package somewhere :/
