Dragonfly- I'm going to assume you're talking about your bearded. I know my bearded dragon had a love for both laying on them and trying to taste the brightly colored ones lol.
But with him gone, none of my pets really mess with my craft stuff. I kind of wish they did, then I wouldn't have to feel like I was losing my mind Tongue

Hello everyone! I'm new to the ATC world. Rereading the initial post I realized there was a chat board I had not visited yet. Cheesy So... "Hello!!"

I'm late signing up because I was waiting for swap feedback and I know I missed the claim craze and things have slowed, but I've already finished the claims I made yesterday. I need to make more!

And... I am working on improving my embroidery skills so these are stitched, which had me put them on board to keep them stiff, that had me pad them underneath so they were smooth, etc, etc.... needless to say, they are closer to 1/2" deep. Is that okay for this swap? I've never made ATCs before, obviously. Wink

That is all.

@ artsycandice:

I can only speak for myself, but I don't mind thick cards at all. However, I know there are people who collect their casts in special binders, where really thick cards don't fit. If you're insecure, just send your partner a quick pm and ask. The swappers here are all a super friendly bunch, and I seriously doubt any one out them would refuse an embroidered card Smiley

Good to know! I didn't intend for them to get so thick. I'll work on that for my next round. Wink Until then, maybe I should put little loops on the back for hanging on the wall. Hahahaha! Tongue

I like anything but it does increase your postage costs to do bulky cards.

I hadn't thought about that.

Ah well, the price of art. Wink

I like it when the cards are outside of the "norm". Some of my favorite ATCs that I've gotten have been bulky - the two that come to mind were done with fun fur and glass mosaic! It is worth sending them in a padded mailer, though.

I keep all my ATCs in baseball card binders, so I love when they fit in the pockets..... That being said, I love unisual cards as well and I have a separate box where I keep cards that extend past the "borders" or are too thick or bulky.  It's fun to display the oversize ones!

I never thought to ask if a 3D or thicker card was ok. I usually am trapped by the muse and not thinking by the time a card gets bulky. And, as luck would have it, it's always the international cards that just insist on requiring thicker envelopes. I even sent one in a box one time!

Good idea to ask unless 3D is the theme.

Hi guys!

Just wanted to let you know I'll be having a few intense weeks at work, and probably won't be updating the claim thread too regularly. I hope you're all ok with that..

Please make sue to include all necessary info on sent and received cards in the pm's to me to make everything as easy as possible to sort through. A simple way to include all info needed is to just copy the info from the claims listed in the second message in the swap. For example like this:

Quote
I sent some ATCs today!

Thanks / Anna
