ooo...and I have been meaning to say fro a few weeks now, but not been able to remember while near a comp...please be free to post pics of your other genetically inspired mash ups that may have been inadvertently created in the past....I've loaded a few in my photo file into the gallery and I'll do a few more when I have more energy Grin

Edit: While doing dally things around the house I found special isotopes that will allow me to add 2 more things to RobbinZombie's super fun list of ingredients that I have short listed *giggle*...sigh...yes...I must admit it...my deep, mad scary, mad scientist laugh, is closer to a female Peter Lorre...or is it demented porcupine?...I can't remember..

I'm pretty sure just about everything I create is a mutant. It's like I was born to be a mad scientist and create mutant stuffies, or just dropped on my head, whateves.

I'm all with you on that one, Robbin Zombie! I have been re-considering the creations that mutated under my fingers, and I have to admit that that is true about most of them (I blame that on the lack of tv-watching when I was a kid, so making things up is sort of the only thing I CAN do..) And I find, most things in existance can in fact be improved upon. But maybe, juust maybe I have some sort of genetic defect Wink

So...just to show how nonjudge-y I'm planning on being about y'all's creations....I would consider this War on Commercialism Purple Thumb A smash up "grade".

if your partners like list consisted of War Medals, Sewing things, Purple, Words, and Zombies.  Since it has a once living thumb, it's got a creature component...who knows?  Perhaps the thumb still wiggles occasionally Grin

(This is the first challenge I ever did.  It's also the reason I finally joined craftsters to start with.  I went back to my old school photo hosting spot, and am working my through the list...as you may be able to deduce, I've made it to page two so far.  So anyway, it was easy to copy and paste the pic into the forum, and it was fun to see the things I made a looooooonnnnggggg time ago...so consider your selves encouraged to post some things we haven't seen since ones beginnings Grin

I've never made a mutant before.

Then again I've never sewn or tried to manipulate wire before either. I didn't bother practicing with the needle before I approached the 'patient' as I thought it would add to the mutant effect.

It did. MWAHAHAHAHAHA! Shocked

(don't worry PJ it's really not as bad as it sounds, I know you wanted cute and not creepy. I made it a beautiful creature) Smiley

Checking in.
I haven't started crafting yet, nor do I have my mutant sketched out.
And to be honest by now I'm really scared I might do a really really bad job. ^^;

Aw please don't worry too much! I swap because it's fun to make things, and I like getting something that was made especially for me. I don't expect things to be perfect!

And in the spirit of our previous mutant creations, here's one I made almost exactly 5 years ago, David Bowie My Little Pony:

That is one of the cool things about making mutants...nobody has any idea what you were shooting for in the first place...so we can't say' "Oh...that BLANK doesn't look like it's actually a BLANK at all..."since we don't know what a BLANK looks like.  And I very rarely sketch.  I pull out a bunch of ingredients and then figure out what they want to grow up to be...I guess I'm just trying to say, there is no wrong way to do this swap, as long as it's just 2 or more things off of their like list.

Cute MLP hack AD Grin.  My dinopuss thingy on the gallery page has MLP legs.  I need to find a list of actually worth keeping in one piece MLP, so I don't dismantle something rare by accident one day...
