One of my crafty resolutions for 2014 is to learn how to use my knitting machine, which was a garage sale find and offered to me for my birthday a couple of years ago by my mom.  I got to taking it out of the box the other day but couldn't use it because I'm waiting on a new sponge bar to be shipped to me.

Who else enjoys machine knitting?  Maybe we can discuss here?

I love machine knitting and can't go back to hand knitting. I just bought my second machine on Saturday. I now have a chunky machine to go with my standard.

I have yet to make anything other than swatches on my machine due to my love of bulky yarns. Hopefully this year that'll change because I really want to make a sweater.

I too have wiped the dust off my knitting machine and began playing with it.  I have a Bond Ultimate Sweater machine, which i have made a few pairs of bulky socks, and an Passap knitting machine that i purchased at a flea market for $5.  I have made a few pairs of socks.

I bought myself a knitting machine a while ago Smiley
I've yet to finish anything on it- I almost made a sock but realised I'd combined two different patterns and it was much too big! I'd like to finish them at some point though, and I'm much more willing to frog when it only takes 30 minutes to get back to where you were!
