I remember looking at this thread in January, but was too overwhelmed to join back then. Now I've started to organize my home and a bit of de-stashing would help with the overall goal. So I'm jumping in Smiley First project will be finishing a jewelry frame. I actually intended to use maps in it Smiley

I'm so proud I can finally post photos of what I made!!!!!!!!! Grin

The first photo is of a blanket made from the pattern:  'All Squared Away', created by fantasticmio.  I am THRILLED with how it came out!  I will be donating this blanket to my Temple's Chinese Auction in November. It used up a TON of yarn from my stash!  Wink

The group of second items are crocheted pocketbooks that I am making for my students (the girl ones at least  Smiley) for Xmas.  They work up pretty quick, and again, are helping me to destash.

I also sent out a pretty big box of stash yarn and fabric to my partner in the 'Under the Sea' swap, but I didn't get a photo of that.   Roll Eyes

Love the bright colors of the afghan!  That must be a lot of yarn destashed.

oh wow!  Your blanket turned out beautiful!  I love that pattern because you can mix all sizes of squares depending on the size of your yarn ball!  Great way to use up stash!

Those purses are so cute!

I "accidentally" bought the wrong quantity of yarn to make a very simple crochet project (I read the directions incorrectly!)...so, I had about, well, exactly 8 skeins left over...yeah, that bad!

I decided to make a few hats on the loom to donate this fall/winter.  I'll be using most of the rest to make some baby hats. I mostly have that green and blue left...ugh--I am going to hate those colors by the time I am done! Grin

Nice hats!  Even if you hate the blue and green after a million baby hats, I'm sure where they're being donated will appreciate something besides the usual pastel hues.  I hope you'll post pictures of a giant pile of bitty hats when you're ready.

I have used up three little leftover balls of sock yarn...I made three little bags and two mini granny squares...any other ideas as to what to do with these small remains of yarn?  I am sick of looking at them...I am wrapping some up on cardboard to send to mixed media artist friends of mine...

I have made tiny doll sweaters as well...I don't feel DONE unless I can use up every bit of the yarn from big projects...I need suggestions!

Coasters. Cut them into short lengths and put them out for your birds at nesting time. Doll clothes. Tie gifts with the excess yarn.
