I was called at 11 pm last night by a friend who found tons of sewing stuff in her mom's old sewing cabinet...she wanted me to come over an pick it up...*sigh*  I am going at 2 today...I have no idea why she thought it was urgent, I guess she was just excited...

So much for destashing...

At least she didn't expect you to pick it up right there and then Always  Cheesy

Anna an Infinity scarf is a continuous loop,no beginning or end.

I love the tea party tray!

Anna an Infinity scarf is a continuous loop,no beginning or end.

Ah thanks, I suspected as much. No funny twists then, like a moebius band or anything? Great!

I managed to make something for me, all from stash! Just small things, as usual.

And a purple/silver one, that just kind of happened. Nearly all glass/crystal on there is purple, I just couldn't get it to show up. The silver lined hearts really are grey. I practiced a bit with this.

A memory charm bracelet, all about what is important to me. I've been collecting these for quite a while, and started putting the bracelet together now. I'm not quite done, I need a dollhouse, a townhouse (I think), a leo to the libra and the two virgos, and two baby sparrows/birdies. Though I don't know where and when I'll find those, so I'll just wear this as it is now:

And I actually made a lightbox. What remains to be done is figure out the lighting (find my old desk lamp, for one thing). All stash: A cardboard box (diapers...), paper, glue. No picture of that, though.

Another kind of destashing: I'm selling off kiddie stuff, the pram, wicker cot, playpen, changing mat, things like that. Feels so weird! I don't want to let these things go, but I need the space, the kids are too big already, and the money won't hurt...

What a meaningful charm bracelet!

What kind of metal are the charms made of? Pewter? Silver?

Most are probably pewter, as it didn't ever say silver anywhere. I think. And they were mostly pretty inexpensive, sometimes I waited until one was on sale (or rather just didn't buy it earlier), because I wasn't sure if I was ever going to actually make that bracelet.

The zodiacs are for my family (Uwe & the girls)(don't really like the lion, but they didn't have the little tags anymore)
the rose and 8 is for my mother, as is the ribbon,
a flower (which is going to be replaced by a dolls house)
then I have the never give up for several themes,
laptop for my degree (still working on that),
teapot and wineglass for the time as a student in Dsseldorf,
the lantern & fan for the flat I & Uwe lived in for 10 years,
sewing machine, scissors & made with love-heart for crafting & Craftster (I think the machine charm looks a bit like the one one the Craftster tees),
hammer & pliers for crafting but also for doing up our house/apartment (upper half of the house),
and a ladybug for Lea, again.

Loving the infinity scarfs!

I made some destash items for the recent Random Swap. I didn't think to take separate photos so here is a group shot. Not all the items are total destash but everything but the shirt used something from my stash. The majority of the mugrug fabric is new but the batting, embroider piece and lace were all from my stash. The green yarn was purchased specifically for the minecraft creeper but then I also used it for the turtle and cactus pin cushion so I started destashing right away  Wink There is a hat, kindle cover, embroidery travel case, cat ami, cactus and turtle all from stash items.
