What a meaningful charm bracelet!

What kind of metal are the charms made of? Pewter? Silver?

Most are probably pewter, as it didn't ever say silver anywhere. I think. And they were mostly pretty inexpensive, sometimes I waited until one was on sale (or rather just didn't buy it earlier), because I wasn't sure if I was ever going to actually make that bracelet.

The zodiacs are for my family (Uwe & the girls)(don't really like the lion, but they didn't have the little tags anymore)
the rose and 8 is for my mother, as is the ribbon,
a flower (which is going to be replaced by a dolls house)
then I have the never give up for several themes,
laptop for my degree (still working on that),
teapot and wineglass for the time as a student in Dsseldorf,
the lantern & fan for the flat I & Uwe lived in for 10 years,
sewing machine, scissors & made with love-heart for crafting & Craftster (I think the machine charm looks a bit like the one one the Craftster tees),
hammer & pliers for crafting but also for doing up our house/apartment (upper half of the house),
and a ladybug for Lea, again.

Loving the infinity scarfs!

I made some destash items for the recent Random Swap. I didn't think to take separate photos so here is a group shot. Not all the items are total destash but everything but the shirt used something from my stash. The majority of the mugrug fabric is new but the batting, embroider piece and lace were all from my stash. The green yarn was purchased specifically for the minecraft creeper but then I also used it for the turtle and cactus pin cushion so I started destashing right away  Wink There is a hat, kindle cover, embroidery travel case, cat ami, cactus and turtle all from stash items.

Those dresden plates are so cheerful!  Awesome work.  Can't wait to see what they become.

I have a few projects to post before the month ends.  I'm reaching back to April for some of these - I have not been particularly organized or crafty these past few weeks.

Exhibit 1 - Socks!

Sock by AluminumDryad, on Flickr
I don't think I've posted them here, yet.  They're my first pair and took forever!  But they used up nearly two balls of sock yarn I'd been hoarding since 2010.

Exhibit 2 - Doll Dress

Sundress by AluminumDryad, on Flickr
I make a lot of these, but they're quick and relatively easy.  (And the dolls don't complain if my finishing techniques are a little wonky.)

Exhibit 3 - Dishcloths

That's two more skeins out of the stash.  I hate to think how long they'd been waiting to be used, probably since my last dishcloth kick 5 years ago.

Those socks are incredible...and of course, I always love your doll clothing...

I am down to about three washcloths but just don't feel like making them...maybe if I sent someone my stash of cotton yarn... Grin
