lol I am trying to use up all the bits of leftovers from all sorts of projects!

I can relate to using up the last bit of yarn...I do the same with fabric...a big project, a small project, coasters, notecard...every bit used...nice job...love the purple headband!!

If there is at least a foot and a half left, I can't stand to throw it away!! And I'm the same way with fabric, however, I gave most of my scraps to a friend who actually uses them! I'm just not crafty enough with fabric to use all the small bits.

I've been watching my nieces a bit more lately, and i try to do a daily project with them. We made some small drawstring bags the other day.

March Themes

Kitten Accomplished by Pen Waggener, on Flickr

Color: Yellow
Pattern: Polka Dots
For: Animals, pets, or the fuzzies at the pound.
Challenge 1: Now that you've got a good handle on what you have in stash you may have come across some things that you know you will never use.  Weed these items and give them away to someone who can use them.
Challenge 2: Make something from the millions of tutorials you've collected on Pinterest, or from one of your vast hoards of craft and pattern books.  If it's an internet tutorial, please share the link in case anyone else is inspired to give it a try.

Time to change the seasonal dcor, so I whipped up a few new pillow covers today. I am LOVING this pillow cover thing - so easy and a great way to use up a couple yards of fabric!

Well, looks like it's going to be all destashing for me for a while - my boyfriend got laid off unexpectedly yesterday. Just looking at it as powerful motivation to be smarter with our money, which was something we had been trying to do before this anyway.    Time to go stash digging!  Cheesy

fishstix43 that really sucks hope it's not for very long.

Have done a small amount of stash busting (I really need to work on larger projects, lol).

First a kindle cover for my Mom, it is a very late christmas gift. She asked for one but with a pocket for her charger and cables and I had a huge brain let down and made a little tiny pocket. I didn't want to rip the entire thing apart so I put the project aside for a few weeks in disgust. Then *light bulb* I can make the pocket removable! So I picked off the old pocket and added it to a larger pocket which she can take off and on as needed. Everything but the elastic was from my stash.

I have been working on some little guys for work. I work at a small zoo and we set up a booth to sell little items for conservation at big events. The flamingos are for that and the elephant is for my Mom, also a late gift it accompanies a donation to the elephant sanctuary.

I am currently working on some other little ami's for the conservation booth so hopefully I will have more to show soon.

I love the fabric too. I actually bought it a few years ago to make my Mom a laptop cozy, with an extra yard or so because I liked it so much, so now all of her tech covers will match Smiley

When I went to go box everything up I decided my Dad gift card was way to boring so I crafted up a little envelope with some paper scraps.
