Dang it. I was at the thrift store shopping for work clothes for my new job and I totally gave in and picked up a sweater to felt and garments to chop up to make this for myself http://shop.blutsgeschwister.de/AUSWAHL/LASS-DICH-INSPIRIEREN/Matrjoschkas-Mixture/my-heart-for-you-dress-lovely-cord-L.html
I don't need a dress like that and in fact I have no idea where I would ever wear such a thing but... I love it Cheesy.

Used up some more stash for a swap (which was received so I'm safe to post Smiley) 3 yards (1.5 cotton and 1.5 minky) fabric for this baby blanket

And another 2 yards (1 cotton and 1 PUL) and a zipper for a travel bag - it is HUGE which is awesome since I wanted it for my shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc for when we traveled last week!

Huh, somebody asked for yarn scraps and then never showed up. At least that made me go through my yarn stash and reduce it by half. I didn't have that much, though, just a bag and a basket. Just a (very full) bag now.

And my room... I have to take a picture tomorrow, maybe that will get me started with cleaning out some stuff and tidying.

I have pics but I'm not showing them until I get after shots, lol. I am at a loss with how to deal with my stash actually, it's living in a cabinet in the dining room but there is so much overflow, ugh.

Yarn scraps are great to leave out for nesting birds in the spring! Makes for some easier to spot colourful nests later on.

I've been saving my yarn trimmings for the birds, but I'm seriously thinking about chopping up some of my yarn remnants just for that purpose. It would destash them a lot faster than crocheting them into something.  Cheesy

Looking for Mccalls 6337 sewing pattern, if you have a copy you'd be willing to share/give/sell please let me know.  The bag costs $60 and I think perhaps I could make it cheaper/

I love seeing everyone's craft areas!  All the boxes and drawers make me a bit giddy.

texscrapper - Such a pretty blanket.  It's always nice to see things for babies that aren't pastel.

J-Kieviet - That robe looks super cozy.

yes, I'm sure my niece will love it for after swimming once summer is here - they like to lounge about outside afterwards under a bunch of towels so hopefully this will alleviate the 6 towels the 3 of them use.  I have another one cut out, which I plan to get sewn up this week.
