Ok, I blew it! Went to the OKC Quilt Show yesterday. The only supplies I bought were 2 fat quarter-sized pieces of felt, a small package of chenille, two fabric storybook panels, and a kit to make two mesh-front bags. The felt and chenille are for use in a swap I'm currently in, the books are for future (hopefully) grandchildren, and the bag kit is for my daughters. So nothing was just a random purchase of supplies. The randomness was in the patterns, books, and half-square triangle tools I bought. How can you pass up a pattern for only $1? Don't know what kind of excuse I can think up for the other stuff! But I do make a lot of half-square triangles when I'm piecing quilt tops, so I think the templates may really help.  Grin

It looks like everyone is being awesomely productive! Love all the projects!

I sorted through my fiber today. I couldn't bear to part with any of it...I may need it, ya know? Roll Eyes But, at least I got it divided between what will be spun and what will be used for felting/stuffing toys.

Craftster forgive me, for I have sinned.
I went to Michael's.  They had Christmas 12x12 scrapbook paper packs for $4.  I bought 2.

What should my penance be?

I believe the standard penance should suffice: you are hereby sentenced to look at the paper everytime you go into your stash (and it will look back pleadingly at you) until you find a suitable project and actually start it. As you can see, this penance is of indeterminate length.

I made a maxi-skirt!

I have about two yards left, so I think I'm going to make a pair of shorts or a pair of pants with the yardage I have left over. It's a real silky texture and I'm mildly obsessed with it.

That is a great skirt! The fabric is really pretty.

Haha, yes! Not to mention the guilt from looking at the older, forgotten craft supplies around the paper in your stash. I imagine they'll all be very sad.
