What cute jar lids...might have to put that one on my own list! Grin

It makes me happy to see the Tree of Life pendants...I had one in the 70's made by a friend (in silver) so it is great to see them come around again! Love the colors and the beautiful, detailed work! The green is just so lovely!

The mug rug is so cute...I see a theme for quaggy... Grin...

Lindy--another nice stenciled shirt...you must have such patience to cut out all those bits!

Not only do I want to visit quaggy someday b/c I consider her a friend, but also b/c I am so very curious about where the heck she puts all her swap stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!! Shocked

YEA for snow!  I was let out of work early today and no work today at all!  I have finished up an item for the OPS,  working on one for the OGS, and I'll be making a quick trip to Michaels for some yarn for my claim for mcook for this swap.

When her claim is done, I'm on to kittykill's item, and then I AM DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This gallery is just awesome!!  And I'm going to add to it!

I got a baby doll carrier from anna.wahnsinn for daysies babies. She loves it! Of course she would not let me take a pic of her wearing it. She also sent me some yummy teas! Thanks!

And I got an awesome sugar skull hoop from gamemom42. I love it! She sent me lots of fabric scraps too. Thank you!!,

Okay so when I came back on Craftster back in July (after a lengthy hiatus), EVERYBODY was talking about mug rugs.  So I had to look one up (this was before I'd actually seen one, I just saw people talking about them) and I figured that would be nice for someone who sits down in the morning, drinking coffee or tea, eating a scone or something, while reading the newspaper.  Very Norman Rockwell.  But I work from home and essentially come downstairs, grab a soda, and head for the couch where I work.

Only today I realized that lately, I have begun having hot chocolate in the mornings (the cold mornings anyway) and I have rediscovered my love of bagels and croissants.  So of course, I started thinking that maybe I need a mug rug which would make sense, right?

EXCEPT IT WENT IN REVERSE.  I am 98% sure that I have now begun doing this BECAUSE I see all these gorgeous mug rugs.

So much for thinking I was fairly cognizant of subliminal messages  Roll Eyes

lol  You will be surprised how often you will use a mug rug...I have a few in my office, my mom uses one for her morning coffee and toast...I have a couple in my crafting room...they are a good size to put your water jar (for watercolors), etc.  They are happy and make any space more fun to look at...

AND, mug rugs are FUN to make!  Cheesy

Surprisingly, I do not own any mug rugs.  Well, maybe it's not so surprising . . . I make stuff and I mail stuff, but I rarely make stuff and keep stuff.  Cheesy  I'll bet most of you do this very same thing!

Hehe, so true A2K, but you can change!  I make tons of jewelry and realized that I wasn't making any for me.  So recently I've started making a few pieces for me. I'd forgotten how much I love to wear jewelry.  Smiley

Love the bus mug rug!  I need to add mug rugs to my list - I love them!

Beautiful TOL pendant!!

The babydoll carrier is adorable!

And I love the hoopla! I need more hoops for my hoopla wall!

Yea, and I rarely make things for myself either - I did make myself a Christmas dress this year, though. I need to post some of the stuff I've been making - I'm so bad at that.

Looking for a vintage magazine (1974 - 1978) that has a fabric nativity set w/ people and animals. An example: http://www.craftster.org/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=440861&ppuser=143144.

I rarely make myself anything either!  I am also bad about crafting for my kids but I am trying to change that!  I have made my daughter a few necklaces and I made my son a Minecraft shirt recently.

Thanks for the compliments on the shirt!  I didn't cheat and use my Silhouette Cameo for that one cause I knew it wouldn't work so it was cut buy hand.  Took me a bit cause I had to take breaks to stretch my back!  Then I realized that I made a few cutting mistakes and cut where I shouldn't have... Since I didn't want to do it over I marked the spots and was VERY careful when I painted not to paint there!

I NEED a mug rug!  I don't have one and covet them so Smiley
