Thanks for all the kind words! The one I made as a kid is slowly growing on me, too. And it has one big fan already: my friend came over with her 6-month-old baby boy and he was fascinated by the different textures of the scraps, and the bright colours!

noturavggeek: love the fabric you used!
MareMare: I really like both of them! I love the bright colours that were used. I'd never seen the greek cross block before, but I love the effect it gives.

I've been making progress at the flower print quilt. I had to take it out of the closet to take pictures and I figured I might as well work on it then. I've completed half of the blocks now.

You can check out my Hoo's There quilt HERE

My hubby had to work today, which is very unusual, and when I asked him what I should do with myself, he said I should make a quilt.  So I did, in just 4.5 hours.

I finished one of my quilt tops on my list.  It is a baby quilt using Hyacinth Quilt Design's Garden Fence pattern and fabric from Creative Thursday's Locally Grown line.  I'm waiting to find out gender before I get the binding and backing fabric, so hopefully it isn't too gender specific as it is.  Smiley

It's hard to tell from the size of the pics, but the fabric has things like sheep, eggs, chickens, tomatoes, strawberries, etc.

I plan to take this one and my QBS Rd 1 quilt to the longarm place in late April to finish it.

Ooo, I really like that! And no worries, I think it looks gender neutral.

Wow, I get busy for a few days and you all go off and have all sorts of fun.  Amazing quilts everyone.  I lost track about 5 pages ago so I don't remember enough to comment on each one.  I am intrigued by the ghastlies project.  I have a bit of that and no clue what to do with it.  That might be an idea.

I do have two finishes from the last two Project Quilting challenges I haven't posted yet.
