One of the big complaints that my husband has with me crafting is that I give most of my art away. I never make anything for our house. Anyone who draws knows we only see the flaws in the art we make.  Undecided We talked and found a theme I was willing to do and he was willing to put up with  Wink Fairy Tales! For my first one I did Alice from Alice in Wonderland.

I used the sepia outline again on most of it but did warm gray for the rabbit and green for the hat. Loving the use of different colors for the outline! And yes, these are Copic markers again. My favorite medium.
Hubby insisted on blue eyes so she got 'em. I know I am going to do four of these for my own house. One will be Red Riding Hood cas I am obsessed with her but I haven't decided on the other two... feel free to give me ideas!
 Thanks for checking it out!

Gozer, you are amazing! Pinned and hit this rocks!

I'm not surprised that you intend to do Red. I know you also like to draw mermaids, so how about the littlest mermaid? The Hans Christian Andersen version. And how about Snow White and Rose Red? I don't think there's much art featuring them, really.

Or you could do Brielle from Prince Ronan, maybe shifting into or out of wolf form.  Wink

I have a rough sketch of Snow White and Rose Red together but it needs a lot of tweaking. I may work on that some more. And yes, I will be doing the Ronan stuff!

Very cool. I was thinking maybe a Rapunzel one would be cool, or you could for someone like Dorothy. Does that count as a fairy tale?

I just did a sketch for Rapunzel! I need to tweak and add some details to it but I am thinking that one will made the final four.

I love your Alice! May I recommend Dorothy Gale of the Wizard of Oz, or Wendy Darling of Peter Pan? Both seem appropriate to the theme. (I also heartily endorse the Disney Rapunzel - she's a wonderful reinvention of the character, who in the classic tale wasn't much of a "heroine" so much as a literal door prize... Wink )

Bringing sexy back for a refund. It really just wasn't "me".

I love your interpretation of Alice!  The coloured outlines give the drawing such a dreamy quality....I can't wait to see the rest of your planned pieces Smiley
