One of the most exciting things I found out about having my embroidery machine, is that I can make lace with it! After some failed attempts, I finally mastered the craft and made these beautiful retro lace owl earrings. I will have more to come!

I just love these!  So much detail in such a tiny space.  I presume that you have to do all the cut outs after you do the embroidery?  If so that looks like a lot of work.

You stitch the design on Water Soluble Stabilizer, and when it is done you just dunk the design in water for about 15 minutes and all that is left is the stitching! Handmade lace!  Cheesy
