I claim alwaysinmyroom for inchies A and M, ATC S, and a holiday decoration.

Im Jill, from Boston, MA.
Color doesnt scare me, and I have no allergies.
Id prefer no supply-only claims because Im in process of clearing out my craft room.  (That being said, if thats what you want to claim me for, go for it, those are the rules.  Ill live ) I would also prefer to not receive leather.

Feel free to change the medium of things...sew something I have under knit, or whatever.

:::Knit/Crochet:::
-a vintage snood, like this: http://www.pinterest.com/pin/53902526763705373/
(the ribbon is not necessary; with or without is fine.  I have a crazy thick amount of medium-length hair)
Here are some patterns: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/coloured-snood http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/knitted-snood

-this...hat-like thing http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/doris-6

-a pillow person, like this adorable guy:
http://www.pinterest.com/pin/53902526763943750/

-fingerless gloves, such as these (or a different kind): http://www.favecrafts.com/Knit-Hats-Gloves-Scarves/Beginner-Montgomery-Fingerless-Mitts http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/easy-detail-fingerless-gloves http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/make-us-in-one-evening-with-a-great-movie-mitts
in a neutral color with a pop trim would be fantastic (I love the grey and yellow in the third one)

-knitted socks, in whatever color you like, in a not-too-hot yarn and, if possible, with a wide top because I have thick ankles.  I have no idea if this is possible, so dont fret about it, but something with a really tight top would not be good.  These can be just plain old socks or something interesting, like http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/twisted-8  http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/maariat  http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/belly

(I realize the gloves and socks are maybe more than a medium...you could claim me for a single sock or glove and claim me again later for the second one...or if you claim me, we could PM and Ill private swap you something to thank you)

:::Embroidery:::
Here is a link to some examples of what I like, but theyre just inspiration.  Also the phrases down below for t-shirts would be great on a hoop Smiley
http://www.pinterest.com/jill_hogan/i-love-embroidery/

-tea towels

-hoopla, any size

:::Sewing:::
-some reusable and machine-washable sandwich bags

-a crazy scarf like this http://www.pinterest.com/pin/53902526763700047/

-a bath towel wrap http://www.ehow.com/how_5478724_make-bath-towel-wraps.html (PM for measurements...it would need to be plus-sized, made from a bath sheet)

-a Christmas tree skirt.  There are examples on this board, but Im pretty open.  Id rather no specific Christmasy prints (like Santa or Jesus), but Christmas colors and Winter are fine.  If there were many fabrics, mixing Christmas prints in is fine.
http://www.pinterest.com/jill_hogan/christmas-decorations/

-fabric bowls or coiled bowls, any size, girly colors; these are some examples, but Im not picky (felt bowls would also be fun!)
http://www.pinterest.com/pin/53902526763857882/ http://www.pinterest.com/pin/53902526763857875/

-Makeup removers like this.  I like how they have bumps.
http://simplydarrling.com/2013/03/adventures-in-fabric-remnants-makeup-remover-pads/

-plus-sized cloth menstrual pads with wings and snaps

-a double pot holder
http://alittlegray.blogspot.com/2011/02/double-potholder-tutorial.html

-some sturdy reusable grocery bags

-a mousepad...of anything, please.  the one I have at work is disgusting.

-one of these brilliant things: http://www.pinterest.com/pin/147211481543584789/

-a soap pouch or two http://www.whimsy-love.com/2012/04/diy-soap-pouch.html

:::Clothes:::

-Any of these on a shirt, ladies 3X or mens 2X
http://www.pinterest.com/pin/53902526763987397/ (I dont eat bacon, so maybe pasta instead)
http://www.pinterest.com/pin/53902526763987391/
http://www.pinterest.com/pin/53902526763918564/
http://www.pinterest.com/pin/53902526762437462/
http://www.pinterest.com/pin/53902526761441028/ (just the phrase)
http://www.pinterest.com/pin/53902526763179314/
http://www.pinterest.com/pin/53902526762721437/

:::Paper:::
-handmade journals (small enough to fit in my purse, lined or unlined paper is fine inside)

-a smash book

-some cat-themed inchies

:::Jewelry:::
-a cameo pendant

-a felt brooch similar to this style, but however you like:
http://www.pinterest.com/pin/174444185535908815/ or
http://www.pinterest.com/pin/255720085065205802/

-a serotonin or dopamine molecule pendant made of metal, like this:
https://www.etsy.com/listing/62767055/serotonin-necklace-for-happiness-with?ref=favs_view_8

:::Ceramics/Clay:::
-a knitting bowl http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=426925.0#axzz2k71jB4g3

:::Miscellaneous:::
-a bowl made from yarn http://www.pinterest.com/pin/53902526759704765/
(kid-made is fine...I just think these are adorable.)

-a posable, cute doll or poppet for the Little Visitor swap...can also be an animal, but would like something posable

-a poppet that looks like me, only with crazy colored hair

-hair fascinators...not too humungous, but noticeable

-a soap dish (or two) that drains away the liquid (like the wooden kind, but Im sure there are other ways you could do it)

-loose leaf tea

-melted plastic bowl, the army guys or animals or anything really https://www.google.com/search?q=melted+plastic+bowls&espv=210&es_sm=91&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=XKR9UrOlCc6ekQe-x4HADQ&ved=0CAkQ_AUoAQ&biw=1268&bih=679#es_sm=91&espv=210&q=melted+army+plastic+bowls&tbm=isch)

-depictions of my cats, any medium.  I can send pictures.  I have two.  Theyre both cute, and Im not the only one who says so Smiley

-garland or bunting for the (Christmas) tree which is going to stay up for the whole year, with different themes.  So Christmas, snowflakes, St. Patricks Day, pastel/flowers, fruits/summer/bright colors, or autumn are all themes that could be made
http://www.pinterest.com/jill_hogan/christmas-decorations/

-(Christmas) tree ornaments (see themes from above)
http://www.pinterest.com/jill_hogan/christmas-decorations/

-Free Dobby missing sock board...like this, though it could look entirely different if you want.  A shabby chic style would be great.
http://www.pinterest.com/pin/99501472991172743/

-sponge holder from repurposed silverware
http://www.pinterest.com/pin/53902526763926641/

-a citrus fruit rubber stamp

:::Supplies:::
-Mason or other glass jars
-air tight tea storage containers
-genuine essential oils (not synthetic, please)
-washi tape
-anything unusual that could go in a Rapunzel scarf (at least a yard)
-E6000
-an exacto knife (Pretty sure I have dozens...but perpetually buried)
-candle-making materials (wick, beeswax, etc.)
-those glue dot things for papercrafts
-a paper crimper
-a compass (the drawing circles kind)
-plastic figures, animals, army guys

oh oh oh  I claim JillHogan back for socks!!!  I love making socks!

This is my claim #2!  2/0/0

Claim 1:  Grab a Coffee--fabric baskets and supplies due 1/22/14
Claim 2:  JillHogan - socks due 1/22/14 *may need a bit more time depending on if I have the yarn already!

Hi, my name is Linda.  I live near Hershey, PA on a forested piece of land with my husband, three cats and an old black lab.  My elderly mother also lives with us.
I love to sew and knit but have little time for art so most of the things I want are things to brighten my day and my workspace.  I joined this swap because
I enjoy the company and I also see lots of things I want to make but have no reason to make them for myself.

I want whomever selects me to do their own thing...I enjoy almost all styles except I am not really into cutesy, animation, etc.

My favorite colors are red, black, and earth tones: greens, blues, browns, golds. I mostly wear bright colors, but my home is more neutral and earthy.

I also prefer smaller things as I am trying to display a lot in limited space.  I have tons of wall space.

Here is my limited list.  I have a Pinterest account, but most of the stuff there are things I want to make, not receive.   I'll be working on updating a new board as the year progresses
for things I want similar...I prefer not to have anything copied as I respect the original artist and want you to develop your own style with Pinterest as inspiration only.

TAGS -- I need tags to attach to my random art projects.  If they can be printed with my email, it would be great! If you select this, please PM me for what I need printed on these tags.
I also need a small hole punched in the tags so I can attach them to my projects

NOTECARDS -- just decorated or with "Thank you" on them---I go through a ton of these due to swapping and making gifts for family and friends...no oversized ones due to postal costs...just simple regular ones

HEARTS--I have collected these from Craftsters for years...I hang them on a string in my craft room...so anything that can be clipped to a string would be great: felt, knitted, crocheted, paper

INCHIES - I want to do an alphabet sampler...right now, I have none, so pick a letter or two and I will scratch them off...I would like a variety of styles from different people, so no more than 3 or 4 from one person, please
I also love bugs, cats, the color red, and graphic designs...chevrons, dots, stripes, etc.
A, M--thanks Jill Hogan!!

ATC's--Here I want to do my full name so I need letters!  I have the following letters already "L" ,"E", "S"...I need the following: I, E(2), B, O, L, R, S, N, D, A --any style would be great!
-my themes are: the color red, Asian-themed, insects, sewing, vintage, circus,

S--thanks JillHogan!

ART FOR MY WALLS...I am trying to cover my entire craft room with wall art...hoops, watercolors, etc. Anything not too big so I can fit a lot more artists...say nothing bigger than about 8x10..I prefer smaller, if possible

JEWELRY--I love wearing longer necklaces in the winter with my sweaters...I like pendants and funky pieces that make people ask about the piece--I don't want anything too dainty that will get lost in the background...but I don't want to look like MC Hammer, either!

BOOKMARKS are always welcome in my house...

Supplies:
I would love hand spun or hand dyed yarns in a quantity large enough to at least make a cowl...preferably done by you!

I like postcards and stuff unique to the area you live in...this could include local coffees, teas, candy

I have a limited Pinterest so feel free to ask if you see anything I might like that you want to make.

OTHER: any type of pin or brooch for my plain coats--felted, crocheted, sewn, jewelry...I just love wearing pins on everything! I also love felted small ornaments or pins.

STAMPS:  I would like any kind of hand carved stamp for my own art...it does not have to be huge. I love Dr. Who motifs or nature motifs

PINCUSHIONS:  I have quite a collection, but would love one that goes on my sewing machine

HOME DECOR:  I have made a resolution to decorate for the holidays...I have two fireplaces, so anything to decorate for the holidays would be great.
I would like Valentines stuff or Halloween stuff or even Mardi Gras--wreaths, buntings, whatever is cute and can be displayed on a mantel!

I will be adding to my list as time goes by because I see so many things I never thought I needed! Grin

I claim jo mama for some pillowcases!!!

This is my first claim
none has been sent
none has been received

Hello there !!
Im Tammy.  Im 41 and im married to a great man and mom to three handsome boys in Northern California. I moved here from OH and love it!! We purchased our first home and are thrilled!!  I like to sew, quilt.  I am starting to get into embroidery and can crochet a little bit.  Im very much into girly type stuff and love anything regency -titanic era. I also love 30s-40s things as well.  I am allergic to nickel.

Here are my wishes
Anything off my wist list is great!!

Im looking for unwanted rock concert tshirts!!  80s hairbands a plus!!!  rock, hard rock or metal!! !

New items
pair of black leg warmers (for hubby) or/and a red pair for me!! crochet or knitted ~~claimed for my pair!!!  thanks!!!

Mediums (more can be found in my list  Grin)
~~Jewelry (chokers, bracelets, earrings but please no nickel posts)
~~Aprons!!  Even though I sew them I would love to see what others come up with!!
~~New purse
~~Hand warmers Victorian Goth ones would be perfect.
~~Crazy Quilted Purse.  Or any purse made by you!!
~~Regency or Victorian era Reticule  (have received but more are always welcome here!!)
~~Petticoat (cotton or cotton blend please) either knee or ankle length with some fullness to it as I like poufy skirts !! I actually wear these a lot!! (Im 5'5 email for length) (received one from farmgirljane and would love more!!)
~~I would love some soft wool socks!!  Size 7 feet  Or a pair of socks with eyelet lace sewn around the cuffs (remember to stretch the sock a bit or it wont fit  Grin)
~~I have a weird obsession with knitted cuffs!! I love them!!  Chocolate brown, red.
~~ Anything that can help me decorate my Victorian inspired sewing room
~~ Would love a first aid kit that I can keep in my car.  Can be of any medium just as long as its a bit "fun" to look at and have. After all first aid is bad enough!!   Something really creative (thats why i asking.  I cant think of anything lol)

Im also looking for a sign that says "Please no solicitors or religious groups"  I have people of one kind or another knocking at my door constantly and it makes me rather uncomfortable.

Crafted Items~~

KNITTED AND CROCHETED

I love this shawl and I am willing to wait longer if anyone will make it for me. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CivilWarShawlKAL/  Im not picky about color.  Would be just happy to even have one.

SEWN

**Civil War Era Cape called a Mathilde Mantilla (Think of a Civil War era Poncho.  This is basically what it is)  Here is a link to the pattern http://www.uvm.edu/%7Ehag/godey/images/s5902170.jpg  and here is an example of what it looks like http://www.thegracefullady.com/civilwargowns/ready-mades_silkmantle.htm Measurements will be provided.  Wool blend or Corduroy would be great. Hood is decorative and is not functional. It only uses around 3 yards.  I would also prefer it lined for warmth. It would be great if I could retain the pattern as well for future projects.  (I can sew I just cant figure out how to make it <frown>) without a pre-drafted pattern.  OR If someone with any drafting kills wouldnt mind drafting a pattern to my size I could play around with it and make my own (If I have a pattern to work with)

Primitive Raggedy Ann doll (An example is in my wists) (Kookaloo Star sent me a lovely one but im going to leave this here cause im in love with these and would love a collection of them.)

Victorian caplet.  At least waist length please email for length.

Slat bonnet or corded can provide links if needed.  Any pattern should do as they are all basically the same result.

Im looking for special kind of apron for my husband.  He cooks the eggs at breakfast time and is a ninjitsu martial artist.  I would love an embroidered apron that has a ninja/martial artist holding a spatula in each hand and says "Egg Master" underneath.  Fabric and colors are open as long as its durable and holds up.

Other Crafts~~~
Bars of handmade soap (the kind that is made from lye).  Lavender, oatmeal, goats milk, citrus are great however any scents are welcome!!  Or soap supplies/kit as I would love to learn how to make my own.  Plain Pre-made soap bars (cold press i think they are called) that are ready to have scents, colors, herbs ect melted and added in are appreciated too as I have young children and am concerned with having lye in the house.  <USA only>    Sad

Im also looking for a picture frame.  about 1.5 inches or more wide/thick on the sides.  What I would like is a thin wooden back fitted to it. I dont need the glass for it.  An old vintage frame would be preferred for this.  Im going to use it as a center piece tray for candles (if you can visualize it will lay flat on the table) I can take a pic of the pic in my book if you would like to see my inspiration.

Shower curtain.  Victorian style please!! Please contact for colors.

My 18 year old loves Jack Skellington from the Nightmare before Christmas so anything with him on (appropriate for a guy) would be fantastic

I claim Frosty for some stenciled loot for her husband (heh, gotta keep the hubby's happy) due 1/22/14

First claim anna.wahnsinn for simple "oversized cross-stitch" shirt due 01/13/14
2nd claim Ruby Copperhead for something Piplup due 1/18/14
3 claims, 1 being shipped, 0 received

About Me: My name is Laura and I live in Maryland with my husband, 3 kids, a dog, a cat, a rabbit and a box turtle.

For most things, I would prefer items inspired by my pinterest instead of exact duplicates.

I am a stay-at-home mom and a writer. I love cross stitch and embroidery and I have a huge wall set aside for hoops. It has had many beautiful additions from swapping, but there is a smidge of room left to fill. I am a huge fan of Firefly/Serenity, steampunk, and the color blue in all shades. Most rooms in my house are white or beige with blue accents, my living room is pale green. I need some color. I'm trying to make our house feel something like a beach cottage (even tho we are about 30 minute drive from the Chesapeake bay) but the house has more of an overstuffed, cluttered, lived in feel.

*** BIG WISH - Anything Loki  ***
my apologies to anyone following me on pinterest - I can't stop pinning Loki. Thank goodness my husband has a sense of humor about my little itty bitty new obsession. Thank you Mama24boyz for the Loki Ami

Please feel to claim me for anything on my Please make this for me boards on pinterest (http://www.pinterest.com/averiakrazy/please-make-this-for-me/ http://www.pinterest.com/averiakrazy/please-make-this-for-me-knitcrochet/ or http://www.pinterest.com/averiakrazy/please-make-this-for-me-embroidered-bits/

I claim Averia for a crocheted hoopla!
3/1/1

Hi, Im Valarie, and I live in California (USA) with my husband, my daughter Lily, and sometime around February 10th my other daughter Willow. I am Allergic to nickel based earrings, love to crochet, getting better at sewing, and do some occasional papercrafting. I am an English lit major, but am off from school until September. I love to read and write. My daughter just got an American Girl Doll (Marie Grace) for Christmas, and we would love anything that is made for an 18 inch doll. For myself, I tend to run a bit on the mystical nerdy side, Doctor Who, Buffy, Harry Potter, witches, werewolves, ghosts, etc.

Favorite Colors: I am a color person! Not much I do not like. My house is a lot of oceaning blues and greens, and tan. With the girls I tend to lean more towards purple and pretty blues rather than a ton of pink, but pink is still good!

Yuck colors: Navy Blue, I have a hard time distinguishing it from black and because of that it makes me mad, lol.

My pinterest is: http://www.pinterest.com/pixieval/
