I was fortunate enough to get paired with mama24boyz for the Geeky Christmas Swap.  I knew she would make me an awesome package (and she did  Wink ) so I wanted to go all out.  I didn't just want to send any packing materials, so I made her a set of 6 Rupees, from the Zelda games, to use as packing.

I worked with the felt that I had in my stash, so no hateing on the colors please Grin  I suggested she only let the kids play with them if they cut the grass or broke pots...she said she told them they had to cut the grass to play with them.  I suppose it is not a good thing to suggest to ones children that they should break things to be able to play with something...grass I can understand Grin

I didn't stuff them too full as I thought a better throwing weight.  Might not break everything in the house at least Grin

These are fabulous! Felt is amazing and you worked it well. Did you use beans for filling?

I just used poly fluff to fill them.  If one used beans, I'm sure there are lots of games one could use them for Grin

Awesome!  When I saw the thumbnail image, before I clicked on the thread, I thought that they might be papercraft jewels, so I was suprised to see that they were plush, which is even better!  You did an outstanding job on them, and I can't say that I've ever seen Legend of Zelda currency done in fabric before (just don't try to fool the shopkeepers with them).
