Oh goodness.... I can't decide if I'm thrilled to have found this, or sad.  Thrilled because it looks lovely!  Sad because I won't want to work on any of the craft projects I have to do now because I'll be dreaming of this!

I couldn't miss the fun....just sent in my signup.  Now to dig through the wood pile for some boards that one of my fellas will generously offer to cut up for me even though they don't know it yet Cheesy

Are they going to be voluntold?   Thats what we call it in our house.   I already voluntold my husband for my wood blocks.  Smiley  I even whipped up a simple one that I am keeping for myself!  I haven't made something for myself in ages.

Sigh - that is what we are told at work - I was voluntold many times to do things...

But great idea to have them cut more than one!  I just voluntold DH and he is talking about buying a 4 ft long piece of 4x4, so I may get a whole bunch of blocks!

I just bought a table saw with the excuse that I really needed it to cut some  birch wood for the holiday tag swap.  Now I have another reason to use it!  Also been doing some remodeling projects this last week and I have scrap 2 x 4's all over the place!

Inspired by those asking DH's to cut some ATB material I have given mine a New Years holiday job. May keep him occupied for half an hour whilst I get in some uninterrupted crafting time  Tongue

I tried to get my cats to cut some wood for me but they refused on account of I have no saw, and they have no opposable thumbs.

So I took the urban way out and ordered blocks of wood online.  Heck I would order my ice cubes online if they wouldn't just arrive as soggy envelopes.

You all are cracking me up!  Cheesy I've never heard "voluntold"! But now that I know it the hubby will be receiving that term a lot.

Glad you all are getting excited and great to see such a good group forming.  Smiley

My husband schooled me on lumber terms...heck, why do they call it 2x4 when it is really 1.5 x 3.5? Who cares....he cut me several blocks for me to practice on so I can save the one I found in the bin at the lumber store...they must have be laughing since I asked for the EXACT size...humpf...I wish I had known this fact before hand...oh well...I have plenty of blocks now...and I am edumacted and voluntold...Cheesy

I just can't pass this up - I love the ATB I got from MissingWillow in the Edward Gorey Swap. This is a great idea for a swap, and I'll bet there is going to be amazing stuff here!
