You could make some thick headbands or some fun flowers with that yarn

I got roped into making another fairy garden.  One of my friends said "hey!  you're crafty!  Let's make fairy gardens!"  So here's my most recent attempt.  Flying pig and all!  Smiley

There's some kind of ground cover (don't remember what it was other than soft and pretty) and the plant is an angel-wing begonia.  I found it at one of my local garden centers today just blooming its heart out.  I bought another angel-wing earlier this summer that's finally blooming a beautiful whiteish-pink and you can see this one booms a bright redish color.

I love those little gardens!

I have that plant...funny, but we call it a dragon wing begonia here!  Both bloom a lot and can be brought inside for winter!

Love the fairy garden!

Alwaysinmyroom, nothing really distinguishes a whimsical shrine from a diorama, altered tin, or even very dimensional art!  The "whimsical" is indicative of it not necessarily being religious in nature, and the "shrine" is an ancient Craftalese word that means "many bits glued together". Wink

(At least that's the idea behind the swap!)

I've got several items that have to wait until after GISHWHES ends before I can submit them. It's driving me crazy because I want to submit them soo much!

That shrine is beautiful... I think I have to copy it a bit because something like that would look awesome next to my beehives.

Love those slippers - always been a fan of monsters.

This fairy garden is so sweet  Smiley - would love to make smth like that but unfortunately working with small things is not my forte. And all green things end up dying when I touch them...LoL
