Thanks Always.
I have never tried dying except clothes in the washing machine. How messy is it?

I made this tee shirt for my hubby for his birthday (he is entrepreneurial even in his sleep... Roll Eyes). The quote is paraphrased from a bookmark I saw on here by jadeye.  He loves It!  Grin

lindy's cards are even better in person! I am so happy to get some more to use for swapping cards.

always - I think many inquiring minds would love to see a shibori tutorial if you ever had the time  Cheesy If you're going to be doing lots more like you say  Wink The one you posted is absolutely lovely.

bookstorebabe - great use of random bead stash! The mosaic looks great. Can we get a close up?

bunny1kenobi - That shirt looks professionally done! Did you cut those letters out by hand!? I seriously wouldn't have the patience.

Thanks, Sheepblue!  Yes, because I am a poor person who cannot (yet) afford one of those fancy-shmancey cutting machines that I soooooo lust after... all my stencils are hand cut.

You cut those letters by hand?  wow...I love the saying and your stencil is so nice and neat!

Sheepblue...I will take pics for a simple tutorial this weekend...I have much dyeing to do! Grin

Here is one of the things I made with my little experimental piece of fabric.  It is a fabric journal page for the current swap:

Wow!  Everything is so beautiful, the shibori fabric, note cards, mosaic, pendants, stencils, and everything else that I've lost track of.  You all are on a roll.

My latest projects.

The first is my second piano clock.  I redesigned it, with a shallow dip in the middle for the clock hands.

The second project was a simple one.  I made a talking stick for my Native American friend En Ne Op eh, who is the head of the Three Feathers flute circle.  She gifted me a flute awhile back, so I wanted to make something special for her.

Fun shirt, bunny! I suck at stencils, so I admire everyone else s work.  Grin
I love the clock and the talking stick!
Yep, I used gold and purple nail polish. There's a few close ups on the post I made for it, but I'm out of town for a few days so that's all the pics there'll be. ^_^

I love the piano clock!!!

My cats are evil.  Bryce, my black and white kitty was found on top of my not finished sock.  he knocked some stitches off one of the needles and chewed up some yarn( or he tangled it up).  I ended up putting them aside to fix later.

I have a new obsession, English paper piecing!  I have been making hexagons for the last few days, and I made two flowers.  I think the flowers will be a part of a mug rug or wall hanging.
