So many lovely things, it's hard to keep up!

I love the fairy domino necklace, and the bunny hooplas - both the lace and the embroidered.  And I'm also pinning the dragon stencil -- beautiful!

Craft on, people!

All these new projects are so wonderful!  I have been too busy this month to get much crafting done and it's driving me nuts!  I have one hoopla in progress and am all ready to do a new Kumihimo bracelet with beads but just can't seem to get in any crafting time!

I've always wanted to do something fun with obsolete electronics, but I just can't "see" what they might become.  I love the re-purposed disc drives!

I was playing with paper again today, and tried to go tiny... but I think I realized my limit.

I started at half and inch square:

...but I just couldn't get the lines crisp enough, even though I do have some fingernails at the moment and that usually helps.  So I upsized to one inch square and I think that should be my lower limit for quality:

I think I am seriously close to having folded 5,000 cranes since the beginning of 2009 when I started my first 1,000.  I might be over that, I'll never be sure, but I know I've given away two batches of 1,000 and have over 2,000 in my house... plus all the ones I've casually given away and/or abandoned.  The most I've folded in a day is 98, and on average, with a 2-4" piece of paper a crane takes me about a minute and a half to fold... and I've done it with my eyes closed.  Smiley

That 1/2" paper crane may not be as crisp as its bigger family members but it's still down right amazing!

wow...you are a crane making machine!  My mom made 50 cranes out of dollar bills for one of my birthdays...It was so much fun leaving them as tips...I kept a few to remember her hours of folding...

Kbrison - thanks!  Yeah, he's not as perfect but he's special!

Alwaysinmyroom, that's awesome, and a wonderful memento!  I tend to fold tips (on the rare occasion I leave them in cash) in the "shirt" fold and people really seem to get a kick out of that... I can image what they thought of your cranes!

lol I had to sit them on a pile of quarters so that they would not be mistaken as trash and thrown out...it was fun while they lasted!

I'll have to find the ones I saved and post a picture...cranes are a symbol of good luck so I have quite a few prints and other Japanese things that have cranes on them...

Neat!  Love the cranes!  Can't wait to see yours Always!

I finally have something to share!  I always make a new tee for Lana to wear to her choral picnic.  Last year it was the I <3 SCC tee.  Here is this year's tee. The "I" is a silhouette of her choral director that I made from a video screenshot.

Anyhow I hope she'll rock it with pride!
