I am trying to figure out how to turn my cat door into a fairydoor...I was just thinking of decorating around the opening...they kind of get freaked out if they can't see through the door, so I have to keep it clear...but I think I can stick a door knob on it...

That would be awesome!  You could also decorate it so that the "door" is open to one side?  So the clear part would look like it was the opening, and the "door" was swung all the way open?  Maybe the fairies wanted the sunlight, or the breeze... Cheesy

That is a great idea!  I am also considering a Dutch door...I could paint the bottom part so the cats can still see in, then have the top part be swung open...going to check out some measurements and plan it out now!

I have had this on my list for the summer so it is good timing!

I need fairy doors.  Multiple.  We had some mice (we think they're all gone now) that put a couple of holes in our walls.  Our apartment manager has, well, a complete lack of care so I have to do something before we get new ones... Roll Eyes

Everyone has SUCH lovely projects!!  I've got some stuff to post but right now I'm just taking a little break from my all day painting...

Ditto Renstar. The last time I received a notification was 20 pages ago (3 weeks+). I've been so caught up in other things that I didn't realize how long it had been until I uploaded some photos to post. How pathetic is that?

These are the tiny bags I crocheted as medicine pouches/keychain pouches. They measure 2 1/2" - 3 1/2" in length.

The rest of the items were from the 10 Minute Swap: A tissue holder and small zippered pouch made from a vintage handerchief.

Two flower and lace barrettes, a decal enhanced letter, a small journal, 2 small magnetic picture frames, and a floral soap.

Four crackers with goodies inside that my partner wanted. I used one of my new tools to make the white embellishments, a Fiskars AdvantEdge Punch System. It let me punch the entire length of a 12" x 12" page without moving the paper; no more messed up borders.

Two surprise balls that my partner had also requested.

A bunny hoopla.

And a vintage Christmas wall hanging.

lot of lovely things!  I especially love the hankie pouch and the tiny bags!

What a fun new tool you have!  It turned out pretty borders for those crackers!

Smeddley, I totally pinned that dragon top! Gorgeous!

rockmygypsysoul if you can't seal the holes where they get in under/outside your house, and there are gaps you can't fix or reach inside (we have an oversized hole for the gas pipe to our oven, I think a cat could get through it's that big!) then I recommend cotton balls soaked in peppermint essential oil. It's too strong a scent for their sensitive noses and they'll not come out of the walls. It won't get rid of mice if you have them already, but it will limit the ways they can get into your house.

I made some more Stocking Caps, this time they're child-sized!

Here's one next to an adult-sized one:

Hang by the chimney with care, or better still, wear on your head:
