lots of lovely crochet items...those Mary Janes are fabulous!

Also, curious about the doubleknitting...is it difficult?  How did you learn it?  I would like to try a project..simple one...

I think I'm developing a permanent crease in my finger from the yarn friction of so much crochet!  As for the double knitting, I... think I just tried it one day.  I'm game to try anything, and though it's a pain (mostly keeping tension is difficult) I suspect it depends on how you knit.  I knit with the yarn in my left hand, so I have to try to keep two parallel lines of yarn going.  I suspect it would be easier if you're a thrower?  But definitely start with something easy in a fairly bulky yarn, I think, to get the feel of it.  I know a lot of people who love it, and it's not *that* hard, just fiddly at times.

Disclaimer: I'm not sure I'm the best person to ask, since I'm not even sure I do it right!  I know I knit very oddly, as a consequence of learning myself from a book in the years before YouTube...

I have been seeing a flurry of activity going on...wow...so many cute things...Bassett Hound!  awwww

My friend Limeriot received her surprise package from me so I can finally post the crochet ombre basket I made for her...this sucker took 9 different colors of yarn...I made it once, hated the look of the seam, studied a You Tube video, frogged it, and redid it...it was worth it as she loved it! Grin

I used some of the leftovers to make myself some ombre baskets, which I already posted.

I also sent her some yo-yo tags and her own yo-yo maker, and of course, some lime already made yo-yos...look for Limeriot to be making her own yo-yo projects soon...you know they are going to be cute!

Wow, I haven't been here for a while and I'm amazed at all the wonderful goodies.  Love it all, but the monster ATCs, basset hound, and bracelet really wow'd me. Smiley

So many awesome projects!  What a bunch of busy bees!

I do have to say, tho, that the little monsters made me smile.  Smeddley, I love how you are striving to lift others' spirits with your little guys.

I made two bags from some vintage fabric that was gifted to me...it is from Germany...I am going to give them to the two daughters of the woman who collected this fabric in her travels in the 1940's!  I actually visited Stuttgart when I was a kid.
