Sound of silence t-shirt = awesome  Grin

I'm attempting paper flowers today. I want something lilac-ish to celebrate the Glorious Revolution of Treaclemine Road - Truth! Justice! Freedom! Reasonably Priced Love and a Hard-boiled Egg!  Wink yeh I'm a bit nerdy when it comes to Terry Prachett  Embarrassed

Waiting for swap packages to arrive before I can post...but in the meantime, season 4 of Buffy the Vampire is keeping me glued to my sewing machine...3 seasons to go.. Grin...I should have lots of small projects done!

I am playing a game with myself...I wrote all of my WIPS on pieces of paper and put them in a jar...I have to finish one WIP for every new project I want to do...I cheat and sometimes throw the slip I drew back in and get another one... Grin

Nine BBQ skewers, two sheets of paper & very sticky fingers resulted in these  Cheesy
I think I will have to make more as apart from the stickiness I really enjoyed doing them.

I like the game idea Always',I also like the fact you're cheating

Thanks for the kind words, guys!

I like your lilacs, kookaloo!  I might have to try my hand at those, very good idea.  I have some double sided paper that would be great for them!

I love your game idea, AIMR.  I have LOTS of WIP's, I should do that as well.  Could be very helpful for the Summer Nerd Games, too!  Grin

I finished this blanket last night, and was very excited to see what it actually looked like (it was pretty dark in here when I finished it. lol)

That ring of squares around the outside was a bit of an experiment, but it worked! (The math said it would... I should always trust the math!)

Here's the post from the Crochet board: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=433578.0

I love the colors you chose - so rich! And the black border really makes them pop.  Beautiful!

I am loving all the new posts!  I love seeing everything and am so inspired by all my fellow Craftsters!  I finally get to post some projects since two swap packages were received yesterday.  Sorry for my photo dump!

First up the things I made in the Random Swap
A hoopla that is a mash up of Doctor Who and Harry Potter.  It says "After all this time?" "Always" in Gallifreyan.  Well that is what it's supposed to say.  Since I don't speak or read Gallifreyan I have to trust the interpretation!

Another mash up, this time it's Harry Potter and The Hunger Games

A Doctor Who shirt

A Doctor Who key fob

A beaded wrap bracelet

A little shrine.  The front:

The back:

A beaded sun catcher

Goonies Pendant she had pinned

Chevron Pendant

And finally a a framed owl.  It's hard to make out but there is embroidery done on the owl etc.

Then in the Ongoing Wish Swap I made two stenciled shirts.  One was another Doctor Who one like the one posted above and the second is a bee

Great stuff, Lindy!  The Gallifreyan hoop is awesome!  I also like the mashup t-shirt, the owl, the shrine.... nice work!
