OMG love the PI quilt!

I'm loving everything people are making.  I especially love all the yarny things - its fueling my desire to try knitting a pair of socks.

I have one finish for March, but not a great picture of it.  It's a washi dress for my stepdaughter.  I didn't get a picture of her in it - just on the hanger

That Pi quilt is AMAZING!  Great job bunny!

I also really like the ring bowls.  I have been wanting to play with paper clay myself.

So my 9 year old son BEGGED me to let him get his ears pierced for two years.  I finally caved and let him do it last summer.  The problem is finding masculine earrings for him.  He had wanted and wore some fake diamond studs for a while (wanting to be like his dad) but got made fun of and called a girl Sad  So I scoured Etsy and found some really neat earrings but they were rather expensive.  I decided I could make them myself.  Our fellow craftster Breegy had mentioned that she was graphic designer so I asked her to do a personal swap with me for 10mm images.  I ordered the earring supplies and made all these earrings for my kids over the weekend.  I will keep a few pairs for myself but they were both super excited and my son now has quite a few pairs of boy themed earrings to choose from.  Some of the Mod Podge isn't 100% dry on these which is why a few of them still appear cloudy...

Finished 5 more sets of fingerless gloves for our area dialysis clinic.

Then made two strips for the Starbucks Bothwell Street Big Knit (or crochet) for Kidney Kids Scotland project that Bushbaby is helping coordinate. Her group is trying to raise money to purchase a dialysis machine for children in the Glasgow, Scotland area by creating a scarf that reaches the length of Bothwell Street (0.2 miles/321.9 metres). At the end of the fundraising, the plan is for the scarf to be disassembled and made into blankets for the homeless.

I realised I forgot to share the stamp I carved, that I used to make tags for all the pi I dropped around town:

My final partner in the hand carved stamp swap received, so I can show off Tongue

(pinching elyxandra's photo because I don't have a good shot of the Finn stamp, hope she doesn't mind!)

I also "tested" that quote stamp on some paper I'd watercoloured. One piece was trimmed and turned into the card I sent with her package, the rest I've kept for now. One is in a frame on my desk - I really need to recarve this stamp for me, I love it that much!

How long did it take you to carve that quote SilverMoon?

I think it was about ten or twelve hours all up. And then I discovered a spelling mistake and had to do the whole thing over again. It went slightly faster the second time, around nine hours.
It wasn't freehand, I had the quote transferred using the "trace and rub" method.

I think when I remake it, I'll carve it into lino, and make it larger, so it doesn't take quite as long. The stamp is a fraction over 4" high and just over 3" wide, so it's all kind of tiny.
