UTM, how do you open the coconuts to have a shell and not a few random pieces of shell? If I knew, I could  share the shells.

Hmm, well after draining out the coconut water I usually place it in a ziplock and then into a plastic grocery bag and ask Lana to whack it outside on the pavement.  It usually breaks into 2 large pieces with a few smaller ones.

Thanks UTM, I'll try that as soon as I will have new coconuts ready. By the way, do you do that with the green coconuts?

Silvermoon, I think my sister and I counted 100, last time I had all of my buttons in one place. I'm truly addicted to them and will probably have to start a Pin board for buttons now Grin

I've no idea about ideas for singing related buttons but I'll look around to see what I can find Cheesy

Youpidou, you mean removing the husk?  When I was back home I used a screwdriver...usually you see the guys with a huge nail like thing sticking up from a board that they pull off the husk with.

Thanks Freakie and others for thinking up more sayings!

Here's yesterday's progress....80+ buttons
sorry had to remove

Make sure you switch arms or you are going to have one huge arm muscle... Grin.

Wow...you are busy...it is so hard to think of images or sayings that teens can relate to without being corny or goofy....

Sooooooo jealous of the button maker!!  Awesomeness for you, UTM!

Maybe a simple 'Keep Calm and Sing On' or 'When you sing it, bring it!' or I LOVED this pin http://www.pinterest.com/pin/395753885976304829/

Have lots I've been up to but must take pics...

Always, I know...esp for the young men's chorus.

RMGS, love those!  I just might use them!

The 2 designs that I have will be the giveaways for the kids, but I'm thinking now that I might make a few other ones as a fundraiser.  I want to have a picnic for the kids at the end of the school year and they don't have any funds for it.  Sad

I finished something, it's from my list, and it qualifies for the challenge because it's purple!

It's made from Vogue 8670, and of course there's a bunch of extra ease (and I can tell I need an FBA from the drag lines in the picture), but it gives me a starting point to alter the pattern and I think this version is definitely wearable.

definitely wearable--and purple is such a flattering color on you...and one of my favorites!!!

Hey, I have a small announcement to make, even though it is for the 2013 craftalong...I am so far behind!

*****************************************

OK--I am so sorry but I was sure that I had picked and announced the final winner of  the 2013 craftalong...I did NOT!  I know I also missed it last year, so I am going to start marking it better on my calendar...I am thinking of skipping December all together each year since it is such a busy time for me and then tax season starts right after the holidays...

But, better late than never, and I have one prize left for the 2013 year!

The winner of the final challenge, drawn by the random number generator is:

RENSTAR!!!!!!!!!

I will contact you to claim your prize!

*****************************************

I will be drawing the name of the January prize winner and then catching up for the Feb-Mar...trying to stay ahead of all of the projects is hard!!!  You guys make too much stuff! Grin
