I've used up my Loops & Threads Charisma stash! Yay!  Well, ok, I still need to figure out what to do with the scraps, but still...

I've posted most of the hats made this way already, so here are the last five, which are new this month:

Which brings the total of these hats up to 52, so, here are 52 scarves to go with them!  (The scarves were also made this month!)

Here they are all paired up and ready to go:

The scarves have been folded in thirds and put as neatly as possible inside the hats (which have had their brims un-folded). so as to fit as many as possible into boxes.

My parents are coming to visit on Friday and will be taking my finished hat/scarf sets home with them (they have waaaay more space to store these!), and will pass them along to the charity in the fall when they start collecting again.

Wow, mio... look at you go!!

And UTM... isn't it funny how everything old is new again?  I remember when buttons like those were all the rage when I was a kid.  Wait... am I dating myself here?  Wink

wowsa Mio!!

Hi bunny1kenobi!  Hehe, it's true, isn't it?  I think the kids are going to like them.  Smiley  I was able as chair of my daughter's Science Night to get the school to agree to pay for the hardware and I am hoping to do the same for Lana's chorus.  Buttons are fun!  I'm also looking into the mirrored backings for next year!  Smiley

We did mirrored backing ones as a promo for our new software product...they are nice because they can be kept in a purse or in a car...

Photo ones are nice for family get togethers, reunions, etc.

I got one a while back and really liked it.  I think the moms would really go for them!  I'm working on making a shrink dink body for one of the regular buttons for fun!  I'm trying to think of how to best attach it to the button.

Do you have the pattern for those hats?  I want to make some for my students for the winter this year and I love how those came out!

It's a pattern of my own devising. I usually use worsted weight yarn and make adult sized hats with it, but I made some alterations to it for chunky yarn and smaller hats.  Alas, I haven't written that version out!

mio, you are a speed demon! I could possibly whip out a hat or two a day with chunky yarn and disconnection of my internet, but not in back loop only rib!

I bow down before your mastery!

Whoa! Mio is fast! Shocked

I adore button badges. I have loved them since I was a kid and have quite a collection somewhere around here. My favorite one says "Trust me. I'm a geek."
