Just made chocolate banana protein mousse

16 oz of silken tofu
1 large package Sugar Free chocolate fudge pudding mix
1 1/3 cups milk (almond or coconut milk will work)
1 or 2 scoops of protein powder (I like vanilla nectar)
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/2 cup sugar
1 or 2 very over ripe bananas

Mix the sugar and cocoa in 1/3 of a cup of whatever milk you are using
In the remaining cup mix the protein powder then the pudding mix and blend all the milk, beat until smooth
Blend in the silken tofu and mashed bananas until very smooth (be sure to scrape the bowl with a large spoon a few times as you mix)

Put the mousse into individual cups and if you want garnish with banana slices and/or chopped nuts.
You could make this banana pudding as well by using 2 small boxes of banana pudding and 4 over ripe bananas, the same amount of milk, no cocoa and you shouldn't need extra sugar...use vanilla protein powder if you want
It would be a great pie filling garnished with banana slices
Here is the no bake crust I want to try since I can't do wheat

1/2 cup almonds or pecans chopped
1/4 tsp salt
1/3 cup quick oats (or sub shredded coconut)
1/2 cup raisins

Put those ingredients into a food processor and pulse until well blended....pat down into the pan and cool in the fridge for 20 mins before filling

Made these for a certain someone who gave me their button machine.  Smiley

I know I'm going to have even more fun with it.  I'm busy finding images to make into Science buttons.  Stay tuned for those!

Finally finished the quilt kits I had for my nieces - I did the jelly roll race for one, and the friendship braid for the other, so now they need to sew the main pieces together/add sashing/etc.

Also have mine put together and need to add the main borders and backing.

March to do list

My duvet cover, pillow shams, sheet set(?), valance, runners for dressers

Valances and chair cover for craft room

Bathroom curtains and floor mat and towels

Looking for Sophia the first fabric and Frozen fabric (preferably flannel, but would settle for cotton) and Phoomph.  I'm in Canada and the companies are that I could order from charge $20-$30 shipping, so if anybody can find some and wants to swap/sell, I would be eternally greatfull.

I wonder why..................   Wink

tiny cross stitch seems to take FOREVER.  I hate filling in.  it doesn't seem so bad when I'm doing outlines and little bits and pieces, but filling in is SO BORING.  and I broke a nail doing it to.  the needle kept rubbing against one spot and eventually that spot got weak and broke.  *sigh*  I will get this done by the end of the month for the nerd battles.  I can do it.  right?   Huh
