Thanks!  I followed the tutorial that aunty.hela had on her post.  It was basically, cut the wrapper open from the back, iron on the vinyl, sew like a regular pouch...easy peasy!

You guys need to try that iron on vinyl!!  It turns anything into a sewable fabric!  I am doing a Doritos bag for my Mom...it makes real fabric waterproof...love it!  It can be found in the interface section of most fabric stores.

Wow, this thread really does keep going at an amazing pace. I started training to become a teacher a week and a half ago and haven't been able to check in much. You've been making great stuff! The list of doorstop crafting machines mentioned is incredible! When it comes to crafting machines, we've got a sewing machine, a dremel and a glue gun, which we don't use too often, but every once in a while. It's more yarn stash etc. taking up space here Tongue

Still working on my sweater, but my progress has slowed significantly. I'm just so tired when I get home from school on Monday and Friday, and we've already got a ton of assignments to do on the other days. I just don't have crafting energy left over! Big transition.

I really like the lace recon on the shirt.  I should try it on a few tees I have lying around.  I am pretty sure I have some wide lace that would work...

I ADORE the candy wrapper pouches.  Pinned!  My kids would love those...

I like this fun candy pouches and the tutorial. I may not try to find iron on vinyl as I would think of eating candies all day long if I had such a pouch, but I really like them.

I am going to do a few for the kids in our family and put the actual smaller bags of candies inside...a special treat when they behave!

Everyone is doing awesome!

I want to to try the candy pouches.  I have iron on vinyl and didn't realize that it could be used for that.  Years ago I made a Ramen noodle pouch but layered with actual clear vinyl and it was a bear to sew and ended up wrinkly
