Thanks Always.  I really am a newbie and have been for years.  LOL.

Even though I have been bad about some things I have made very good use of some things like my jewelry tools, Pinterest finger (always getting more ideas and inspiration here!), and camera.  Smiley  I can honestly say that I craft most every day even if it's just in my head. Smiley

I've got all of my cardmaking supplies sitting and waiting to be used (Cricut, Xyron, a new Fiskars edging punch thing), and a knitting machine my dad found me on Kijiji, and a sewing machine that dad also found for me (and fixed... and stored in his house) that I haven't been able to use because I just didn't have the space.

I've got a new apartment now, though, and I'm going to take over the dining room for these crafts, I think.  (We eat on the couch Tongue)

Another heart to share today,my beloveds and my initials & a little purple heart  Smiley

I have been laughing at all of the "doorstops"  Grin I don't have anything unused but I do have things that I don't use often enough. My serger could use some love & attention and then there's my knitting machine too  Roll Eyes I did unearth some cones of machine knitting yarn so as soon as I finish my hand knitting project I will whip up something by machine.

I made this hand-painted canvas tote bag for a swap partner. I have never done stenciling or painting fabric before, but I think it turned out well. I used a bunch of masking tape and a ruler to mark off all the triangles before painting. I was a little worried that the masking tape wouldn't adhere to the fabric enough to get clean lines, but it did.

I really love how it turned out, and I'm excited to make some more!  Grin

I've been reading through the posts about having unused crafting stuff, and I definitely have some too!
1. Knitting Loom - Christmas present from friends two years ago - never used.
2. Brother PQ1500S - I got this for free! I pulled it out, but never set it up. I really wish I had a craft room or more space so I could have both of my machines set up all the time. It's a pain to pull them out just to have to put them away again.
3. Stamp Carving Tools - I bought these a few months ago, and I still I haven't tried them out! I'm nervous about screwing up since I've never carved stamps before, but I really should just dive in head first.

Items I pretty much never use and should just get rid of:
1. Scrapbooking paper and supplies
2. Rubber stamps
3. Embossing powder and heat gun
4. Beads (lots and lots of beads)

I have so many supplies and tools that I just don't use.  They call me the Swiss Army Knife of Crafting at work. If anyone needs any crafting supply they ask me first before heading to the craft store and like kbrison's daughter, they usually don't have to go to the store once they hit my stash. It's not like I don't use anything in the stash because I do, all the time!  It is just that I have so much of it and continue to accumulate it faster than I can craft with it.  My mom has an entire sewing room that now she can barely walk into because it is overflowing with goodies (mainly fabric) so I know I got the craft stash hoarding from her.  I just can't get rid of anything as I just might need it one day and that theory has proven to be right many times over the years.  A lot of my stuff has been given to me but then again I have bought a lot of stuff as well.  I'd say it's 50/50.  As for things I never/hardly ever use, 4 sewing machines, 3 sergers, embroidery machine, cricut, 6 knitting looms, wood burner and all the supplies to go with them, fabric, yarn, wood shapes, paper.  It's not like I have not used any of these (well except for the embroidery machine- acquired through my daughter's late mother and just have not taken the time to try it out), it's just that glue, paint and markers have become my go to craft supplies for the time being. And just to prove that, here are my three latest projects.
