alwaysinmyroom, those are red hearts with big blue bows on them. Part of the huge pile of fabric I got from my mother in law a while back. I loved it and thought it would be perfect for Valentine's day.

Thanks for the comments, everyone! This was my first skirt in a long while and my first real attempt at putting an elastic waistband on anything.
lol _ I really need to wear my reading glasses !

good job!  I eat elastic waistbands...so much more comfortable!

K-star...eat your hearts!!

A purple brain protector:

And some Valentine felted hearts:

The smaller two are pins and I've been using the larger one as a coaster

In other crafting news, I've made a Santa brain protector (because it's never too early!!)

And a camouflage brain protector:

More crafty goodness. That purple brain protector struck a chord.  It is adorable.

I think my good n plenty quilt might actually qualify for the latest challenge. How odd.

Such RAAR grr ugggh stuff in just a day or two!!

Bunny - I'm totally going to have to steal that t-rex thing for my husband.  He'd eat that on one of the bookshelves in his classroom!

Though it's only February, I've already decided on my Halloween costume for this year. I was going to go with the idea I had for the costume that never was last year but I had a better idea.

Ta-da! My 11th Doctor inspired costume! Grin
It's not in color because I haven't decided on the colors yet (except for the fez). I'm leaning toward a light blue shirt and black skirt though. The bow tie, boots and suspenders will be bought. Unless I can find a bow tie pile of flesh.
