Ah ah, very fun T-rex in a box. Cheesy

Rantyhippie, your skirt is very cute. have a nice valentine day with your son.

That1girl, I really like your shopping bags. With canvas, they should last a long time and hold a lot of weight.

Waggonswest, great job on the quilt.

Underthemountain, I like your lego necklaces and the key-rings for the boys. I'm sure they will appreciate receiving something even more as they won't find it too cheesy. I would have liked to receive either myself when I was in school, I still would!

beautiful skirt, love the cowls, and the T-Rex is awesome!

Yoopidou, thanks!  We love Lego!  I'm going to be making some fun Lego cufflinks next.  Smiley  In the past I've made a great bracelet too.  Smiley

Grin  Thanks, guys!  I was fortunate that there are only 17 kids in his class.  The T-Rex takes up most of the space- thankfully it didn't need to be a very big box this year!  Wink

lol I had no idea what you were talking about...Valentine box...but I know now...duh...I don't have kids so I forget all these things teachers and parents have to come up with!  That is one cute box...It gave me an idea for some mini dinosaurs that I purchased a while ago...

The cowls are really warm looking...and I prefer the heavy duty canvas bags to the flimsy interfacing like ones...they don't hold up too well after a few uses, but for free or a dollar, I still get them!

Are those smurfs on the skirt?  How cute!

alwaysinmyroom, those are red hearts with big blue bows on them. Part of the huge pile of fabric I got from my mother in law a while back. I loved it and thought it would be perfect for Valentine's day.

Thanks for the comments, everyone! This was my first skirt in a long while and my first real attempt at putting an elastic waistband on anything.

These are to hang on my mantlepiece, beer can hearts painted with glitter nail polish  Grin I keep the fairylights up year round and change the decorations with the seasons/my mood.

Kookaloo, how did you make the hearts for Jake, Leah, and Kairan? I can't figure out what materials you used, but I really like the effect.
