If I understand the scarf project correctly: you knit a section, then pass it to someone else who knits a section then passes it to someone else, and the scarf keeps going around to all participants until it reaches the goal length... if that's the case, personally I'd probably claim each section I knit as a project.

But you can do it in whatever way makes the most sense to you - I go for the way that motivates me the most. ^_^

sorry  Embarrassed not quite. I am & other volounteers are knitting sections which are then sewn together by me to eventually make the total length of scarf we are aiming for.

I think I will just count each yarn ball I completely knit as 1 finish, as well as keeping a running total of length knitted by me.

I made myself something (which rarely happens). This is a freezer paper stenciled sweatshirt in anticipation of the return of The Walking Dead:

mel--that scarf is beautiful!  I have been wanting to make one of those fluffy scarves but the yarn intimidates me when I see it...

bushbaby...I have loads of odds and ends of worsted wool..is that dk yarn?  Should it be acrylic and washable since it will be made into blankets later?  I would like to contribute a length...garter stitch I can do well and fast! Grin

(As confrimed by K-star on another thread) yeah Worsted should be close enough. Smiley And any yarn should be good - what ever you feel like donating Smiley we can always match up wool to wool and acrylic to acrylic if neede when we make the blankets.

We love the idea that once the scarf is sewn together each section will have a little tag saing the name & country/state of the person who knitted it Smiley I'd love to make this a really international thing  Grin

More hats!  I've actually already shared 7 of these, so this post adds 23 (rather than the 30 pictured).  I had them all out this morning to take pictures to submit to the HP game I'm playing, and then I put them all back away again before realizing that I wanted to share it here, too! Since I already had to pull them out again to weigh them for approximate yardage (2010 yards!), I'm not pulling them all back out again for more pics (I've got the yarn for the matching scarves tucked inside them right now), so... just ignore 7 of these. Marked this to receive notifications when new comments were added. For some reason today was the first time since Jan.16 that I actually was notified of new posts (just 28 pages worth!!!). Looks like everyone has really been busy, but there's no way to comment on all 28 pages.

I've been crafting for swaps but nothing I can post yet. I did make a few cards though so will share them.

My favorite is the last line on the bottom right card: "He took out his wallet and handed it to her." Definitely my kind of guy!
