Mio--what is your count up to?

I love the swirly pattern for the hats and scarves!

I haven't shared all of them here yet (I'm posting these hats to a few different places, so it's tricky to keep it all straight) but my official count is 68.  That's less than I was hoping, but that's ok.  It's still a whole lot of hats!!! lol

I am at 15 projects. I have updated my list but will post pictures later.

That's a cute cat bed. Maybe the cat will use it later, once he has forgotten it was ment for him. As Alwaysinmy room said, cats seem to need to pretend they don't want what we make/buy them. My last project is for cats too. I made them a toy. One cat loved it. The other looked at it, gave it one try and decided it was either to infuriating or to stupid, maybe both!

This new cowl looks very thick and warm,  bunny1kenobi.

Wow, Fantasticmio, that's a lot of hats. More than two a day! Don't your fingers hurt after that much knitting?

Hi there!

I thought I'd actually put in a post here instead of lurking like I usually do.

I'm at 3 completed projects for January (all variations on a theme), one abandoned project (ran out of motivation and yarn - a deadly combination), and one WIP.

MelancholyWing's Bodice Pattern by AluminumDryad, on Flickr

My WIP project was going to be my entry for the "Learn Something New" January challenge - first time doing a complicated lace pattern, reading a chart, and using beads. Perhaps if I knit really fast this evening I'll have it done in time.

WOOT!  I created something!  *jumping up and down because my muse has returned*

It's not from my list, but that's okay.
Maybe I should make a section for "random things that I make that have no purpose other than to make"

Any way... Behold!  I made a green and copper bracelet.  It's kind of random, but I like it.

I'm behind and I've missed soooooo much awesomeness!  I have no excuse, other than an illness that has been kicking my behind and a project that took waaaaaaay longer than I thought it would!  Hopefully February will be a much craftier month!  (And I'm still so blaaaarrrrggh that yes, this is almost a direct copy/paste from the Winter Nerd Battles post.  Oh, for shame!)

I did do some art, the first two weeks of Lifebook 2014:

Then I finished a giant project of DOOOOM - my 2014 Goal Book (more info here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=431221.0#axzz2s21SMtOd)

Then I finished another swirly drawing that had been lurking, sketched but not inked, forever... and I also did a colored version.

First, dish in black and white line:

Then, fish colored in with these weird/awesome crayon pencil things my friend gave me.  It's nice to go back to basics, even if it doesn't quite give you the finesse of colored pencils!

Finally, when you show your friends things like your Little Visitor Scrapbooks, they always want one, too.  I was given MiniHoneydew by a friend of mine and did a series of photos/stories of "Lifestyles of the Rich and Peg-Like".  Pretty much the entire thing is what I'm counting as the project, but I have a picture of the props I made for it here (mini tiara, tiny knitting, and an entire set of mini cards):

I really hope February is a lot craftier!

Gaudiknight, all the tiny cloths are very cute. I like that your doll also has a knitted pet or plush.

Dewshinesdopp, your bracelet is lovely. I like the camaieu of colors you used and the randomness of it.

Smeddley, I love your 2014 Goal Book. That's a very fun idea and that will make you do things. I admire you for being able to stick to it.
I would like to know more about your little visitor scrapbook like. Can you make a post about it?

I could post the pictures, but I have NO idea what board it would be on.  It would be crossing the streams to post the facebook link here, but I think the internet probably knows who I am anyway... here's the album I put on FB:

I have another one to do, once I get another peg-person, and I think it'll be comic book style...

There were some great new projects to look at. That made me forget that I came her to put my projects.

I made a toy for the cats: Whack a mice.

a cardboard box with holes,a paper bag with slits over the holes, a stick with some green felt wrapped tightly in a ball at the end. This cat loved it and kept trying to catch the green ball. My other cat enjoys much more to play by herself with the paper bag. Wink
