My phone hasn't been charged, so I haven't been taking pictures of the stuff I've completed over the past week or so.

It's been nice catching up on everything I've missed here in the thread, though! Everything looks great! <3

haven't posted any projects in the last few days.  I have been working on a couple of WIPs.  I have one of the doll houses partially painted, and have done a bit more on a couple of the embroidery Wips.
Today is a day off from work, so I will be getting more done.  I hope to have a project ready to show by the end of the week.

I'm ashamed to admit it's taken me 13 months to finish this for my hubby  Embarrassed
It fits him perfectly though and despite my mistakes he loves it  Smiley

and this is my poncho which is badly in need of ironing  Roll Eyes it's a heavy weight jersey type fabric, the cowl-neck is a lightweight jersey that I was happy to find a use for  Smiley

Everyone is doing such great things and we are only 14 days into the new year!

I made my first project of 2014 - 2 Disney Frozen for a friend's little girls - however, I forgot to take pictures.  I am going to make them for my girls too - so I'll post that picture I suppose Smiley

Kookaloo-star, I like the poncho a lot. Ponchos are so comfy and lovely. The sweater looks great too and you're so lucky to have a hubby who appreciates your knitting!

Kbrison, denim is a great idea for potholders. they should last long and not hide the stains pretty well.

V3nu5, it's nice of you to craft for your grandma.

Thanks, considering she's the one who taught me to crochet, I feel like i'm giving back. It's almost a given, right?

I don't want to bore anyone who's also in the Harry Potter craftalong but I completed my first few projects of the new year - four oil paintings.  You can check out the thumbnails on my list if you want at http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=430313.msg5142918#msg5142918   Smiley
