Thanks for all the nice comments about my Woodland Sampler. It was a lot of work and a lot of fun to make. Smiley

yoopidou yeast, and every other time I've tried to make bread it was way to moist like a cake. this was way to dry like a brick

Best bread recipe ever:

hmm I saw that earlier. it sounds like a really intruiging idea. not sure if I have anything that I could use for it though - especially given that my "spring cleaning" genes seem to have kicked and I am in the process of massivly de-cluttering our house and thowing out all the rubbish.

Still, maybe I will find something that will inspire me to join in Smiley

This year I've challenged myself to make 1000 hats for charity.  I'm not sure if I'll make it, but I figure, even if I don't, I'll still end up making a LOT of hats.

Anyhow, here is my progress so far!

These ones were made using whole balls of charity yarn I had in my stash:

And these were made with an eye towards using up my Patons Melody scraps:

(Also, I'm making them for my Potions OWL for the HPKCHC game on Ravelry, so each has to have at least three colours, with variegated yarns each counting as only one colour)

Those are my favourites, too... I keep thinking that I need to make myself a hat like that now!
