I have finished No. 1. An asteroids wall hanging for OH, based on an old arcade game (I think)

You made me feel so old with "based on an old arcade game (I think)".    Tongue

I finished my first project of the year. Crocheted dishcloths. I should probably mention that I don't know to crochet. Thanks to youtube I have my first set.

The first dishcloth was pretty sad looking.

The other 3 came out much better.

Having half of yesterday and all of today off has allowed me time to start 2014 off right!!

I made a neck warmer and hand warmers for my dad's birthday. He is a fur trapper and when I saw this fabric I knew he had to get something with it!

Hand Warmers

I finished a hat I started a few months ago, then forgot about due to Christmas crafting:

And a headband!

There are many I do remember but this is not one of them. Or maybe I was less geeky then, (not that I think I'm a geek now, but my habits might suggest otherwise).  Grin

*jaw dropped to knees*  You didn't know how to crochet and you got dishcloths???  I am so jealous!  I have been trying to get past the "make a long string" stage for like 30 years.  Seriously.

I have just done a quick reccy through the posts and already such amazing projects:

My review
bushbaby - cute washclothes & awesome breadmaking (chorizo = win)
SilverMoon - awesome toy hammock, I love the colour
dewshinesdopp - the infinity scarf is an useful way of using up something that would have been frogged or wip-binned forever (for me). I love it. Droid = Smiley
Flared-trousers - buns Smiley
pollyprissypants - loom - awesome. finished cape - amazing
Sera unravled - that looks lush
Ffrogg526 - entreac is on (one of) my list (s). It's looking good, keep us posted on progress
michelleandbean - more cute dishcloths
jfer007 - awesome, I love the fabric you have used
