FOUR SEWING MACHINES?!?!?!  Shocked

It might be 5 but only one of them is in working order at this moment so that makes it a little better, right?  LOL  The sergers are all unthreaded and we all know how difficult that can be to rethread them, so I have given up on them Sad  it makes me sad because I love my sergers.  Maybe this year I will take the time to rethread them.  We will see how it goes, I don't have much patience with machine though.

I have never had a problem threading my sergers...they came with color dots to follow...but I do want one of those self-threading ones as I keep one threaded with white and one with black...it would be nice to be able to change colors quickly.

Mine has color dots and diagrams, I just can't follow them and get frustrated when I think I have followed them correctly and the machine doesn't work Sad  I have patience with people, not machines lol

ActsofCraftiness: that bag is beautiful!!

crazyda79: The date night jar is such a good idea!

And as far as not using tools and such, our apartment isn't big enough to store things we don't use!! However, my parents have let us put a bunch of unused wood blocks and screen printing screens in their storage shed until we can use them again.

Crazyda79, five machines is still reasonable in my book! I have a friend who used to sew professionally. Her count is at 14 machines and people keep trying to give her more!! Of course, she's also my friend who's in a Dutch oven cooking group with me. Last count she had 60+ Dutch ovens. Now that's an obsession! Grin

I just chalk the accumulation of tools, machines, and supplies up to preparation for my retirement (46 days and counting). AIMR, not going to get outrageously crazy by challenging myself to use all of my doorstops next month, but may try for 10% of them. That would still be a lot to accomplish.

Love the stenciled bag. See, I don't need my Yudu, just a roll of tape and a ruler. I could do that. Wink

That1girl, I think you must be one of the most productive people on Craftster. I really admire all you achieve.

crazyda79 I saw (and repinned) those corn holders on Pinterest yesterday! Great to know they came from a fellow thread member!

If we are counting things stuck away in storage, I better put my hand up to two sewing machines (one was DPs before I met him) and I think a seger too - that's an overlocker right?
I'm lucky to have an understanding partner. DP does the same thing with power tools, which we don't have the garage to either store or use them in. Our tiny back shed is full of tools. One day we'll build a garage and I'll get him set up with a full workshop. (Then he can build me an art studio in the other corner of the yard lol)
