kbrison quote, "Marked this to receive notifications when new comments were added. For some reason today was the first time since Jan.16 that I actually was notified of new posts (just 28 pages worth!!!). Looks like everyone has really been busy, but there's no way to comment on all 28 pages."

My notify emails are often late, too. This thread runs fast. I don't think the server can keep up with this one. It does not always keep up with my PM either. I get those notifys days beyond when I have already read the messages.  Grin I just keep checking back.

Nice coffee cards. And curious about the Naughty Knubbelchen. I will soon be working on a Lederhosen for my Howdy Doody puppet  Grin I am learning to Yodel, and wish to learn the ventriloquism style for that.

I have lots of projects planned to make 2014 the best year ever!!!! But I am loving all the eye candy here. I don't always get a chance to comment on everyone, either. But I love it all the same. This board flies...but I grew wings.

Love the purple earrings!  I have a couple of purple things but I have to wait until my partners receive... Sad...in the meantime, I have been so bad about not posting pictures of things I have made:

1.scarf for my mom's very tall doctor...this took three balls of baby alpaca but so worth it since my mom really likes her...

Close -up of very easy stitch pattern...free!

2. two owl fabric baskets for Grabacoffee in OWS swap...she wanted a place for labels so I used vinyl...see the little birdie stickers?  They cover up a tiny spot where my iron accidentally melted the vinyl!! shhhh

3. scrappy potholders for luckdragon in OWS swap

4. socks for JillHogan in OWS Swap

5. Rainbow calorimetry for me!

Peace out! Grin

Total of 13 projects in January--woo hoo!

Guess that is all I can show until packages are received!

So much great stuff!  I love all the little hats, the little fabric dolls, the wee basket,  and well everything else I am forgetting to mention!

Alwaysinmyroom I ADORE those fabric baskets.  The fabric is too cute and so are you!

The baskets and fabric look cool. The scrapy potholders are beautiful. And all the yarn stuff looks great and warm and bright.

Love the purple earrings and Always, I've been wondering what a Calorimetry would look like in that yarn! Now I know - awesome! When the mercury gets below 100F here, I might make myself one!

Been doing lots of stamp carving, but that's for a swap. Been making lots of pi but I'm saving them for one epic post. Been doing lots of scarf knitting and Supernatural watching - about 3/4 done now roughly (that's a generous estimate, but it makes me feel good!)

I hate it when I don't have pictures to share :/

Since a lot of yarn is not used in making a calorimetry, you have to sort of plan the yarn in order to get all of the colors...I used a partial skein and barely had enough...but if I were going to do it from scratch with a full skein, I would roll out the yarn until I could start with red, then orange, etc. I guess you could also cut some of the colors shorter...that yarn brand is really meant for a hat of scarf or larger project to get in all of the colors...but hey, I like it anyway.
