that1girl I LOVE that quilt!

vintage electrical capacitors...oh my...can't even imagine what you are going to do with those! Grin

I want have been eyeing those forever!  I want to make them into earrings Smiley

Mmm, me too! I think I was very restrained in not buying a cute needle felting starter kit from Daiso today (it's like a dollar store, only everything comes from Japan, and every thing in the store is $2.80. I did manage to pick up for carving rubber for making stamps and some cute buttons to make into earrings though) Alas my poor unopened pyrography pen!

O.O  I had to google this Daiso thing... I do not forgive you for introducing me to the wonder that is an all-Japanese-stuff-Dollar-Store.  I do not say thank you for the bazillions of loans I will have to take out in order to buy EVERYTHING they sell.

*wanders away muttering to self about teenage girl's anime based 15th birthday*

I think I am in trouble with this store too!

Lindyv321, so many stenciled T-shirts. How do they hold in the washing machine?

I use fabric paint and I am assuming it holds up well.  The brand I use is Tulip Soft.  I have received stenciled shirts in the past and still am able to wear them!

Thanks for the name of the fabric paint. I'll see if they carry it here.

That1girl, I won't make boxes for the cats after all. They will keep their cardboard ones and they likely like them best anyway!
You always find cute fabrics. That quilt and pillow are lovely and look very comfy. Do you have your own tags to sew on the items you create?

Everyone's projects are incredible. I get so many ideas from seeing them.

That baby quilt and pillow are gorgeous. Cute fabric.

such cute baby whale fabric!

I'm slogging away on some knitting projects, but also running around patching holes in my house.

My only completed "craft" was my contribution to the annual Capricorn Dinner with friends whose birthdays are all born under that sign.

Years ago, one of the participants was vegan, so I began making this vegan chocolate/raspberry cake.  3 tiers of double chocolate, painted with melted raspberry jelly and swathed in chocolate "butter" cream.  This year I subbed in part cake flour, which made a cake that was too tender to live.  I ended up trowelling on the frosting like spackle -- but I didn't hear anyone complain!

I also made a a cucumber salad loaded with dill and chives, and just enough sour cream to call it salad.  We didn't even have enough left for seconds!

Gah! I have a bunch of finished projects I can't share yet. Hopefully my swap partners get them quickly so I can post pictures.

I know this might vary a lot by person, but how big does a project have to be before you count it toward your yearly count? And, what if you are making something for someone, like a swap, and you make something extra that goes with the original swap item. Do you count them separately? For example, if I made a bag for someone and then I also made a little travel tissue holder (I did not do this), would you count them as separate projects?

I know I'm lame for overthinking this, but at the rate I've been making things, I might blow past 50 projects in a few months, even with a newborn coming soon.
