I really like those colors on your quilt AIMR.

My dotees have been received so here they are. They have soft fabric bodies and are painted.

A Picasso-themed dotee for Smmarrt. A Barn Owl for Ludi and a forest at night for La Chapa.

Oh yeah, the back of Ludi's:

Crafting to keep insanity at bay.

I have been so out of the loop lately. I got into a car accident last Tuesday (not my fault, and I'm ok thankfully) which meant I spent pretty much the rest of the week dealing with the consequences...had no car, talking with the insurance company/auto shop every day, and then finally decided with my bf that the most sensible thing to do was buy a brand new car this weekend (the likelihood of the old one getting fixed was not great - 12 years old with more damage than the car is worth). So can you say exhausting?! Anyway, with the shock of all that behind me now (still working on resolving what's happening with the old car) I think I can finally get into the crafting again!

So sorry I missed commenting on everyone's lovely stuff! I was still lurking - craftster, in addition to be a tremendous inspiration, is a great distraction to life's little crap piles of crap - and love seeing what everyone is working on.

I have been crafting slowly, mostly for the IYP. I hope to have some stuff to share soon! I am also starting to think of Christmas already!?! Anyone else there yet too? Funny enough I think I already have more than half the people on my list figured out - this will be the year of the mass production gifts - i.e. I'm thinking of dabbling in flavored liqueurs and jars of soup mix, and a nice portrait of me and my bf (we haven't had a formal picture taken in years) that I might use Fracture to translate to a really high quality glass print.

Haha, now that I've finally broken my radio silence, I can't shut up! Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Sorry to hear about the accident sheepBlue! Happy that you're okay, but I can imagine it was very stressful. And buying a new car seems scary too, to me. Such a big purchase! You're definitely not the only one already thinking about Christmas, here as well! That's just what happens when you're a craftster (especially for yarnies like me) because generally, crafting a gift takes more time than buying one.

Also, I had previously added this sweater to my list (finished over two months ago) but I hadn't posted it yet. Six months of on and off knitting. If only I could learn to take regular breaks before I get knitting inflammation in my wrist and elbow, it wouldn't take as much time! Alas, I just knit maniacally for a while, until my body forces me to stop and recover, and then I repeat the cycle... Ouch!

Love the cool skirt, neat patchwork, awesome dotees, and lovely sweater!!

Finally have something to share....raspberry jelly from our picking adventure today!

We decided to deseed 1/2 of it so that it wasn't quite as seedy, but not completely deseeded.
Lana did some taste testing and gave it the thumbs up.  Mmm!!!

I think I am about 100 pages behind.  I won't catch up anytime soon.  I'm sure there is amazing crafting going on to fill so many pages.  I'll start updating my list soon but here is one that I managed to post.

Gorgeous sweater - love that color!  And I'd love to taste test some of that jam!  The quilt is so fun (I need to make myself some scrappy quilts, too) and the dotes are great, especially the owl - love the skeleton on the back,
