Kookaloo, you must be every neighbor's favorite person with all the acts of kindness you do for them. I'm sure that little girl was thrilled to receive a shopping bag that's all her own.

That1girl, do you ever sleep? Seems you're crafting 24-7, not that that's a bad thing, of course.  Wink Every time I see your new mats I think about making some for our camper, but haven't done it yet, so keep reminding me by posting new ones.  Grin Did you crochet the pineapple doily also? It's gorgeous!

Crazyda, I've never heard of Peppa Pig, but he seems to be a favorite with your nephew and just a perfect size for hugging. Looks like your nephew is a perfect size for hugging, too! Is the Ronald McDonald quilt block project specific to your community or is it a more wide-spread project?

A three year old with her own little shopping bag...how sweet for you to make her one of her own!

Aww thanks, he is really huggable that is for sure! As for the quilt blocks, I think it is my mom's personal choice of fun new ways to create quilts.  She just learned of the coloring on fabric method and is very excited to incorporate this new technique into her quilt making for the house.  She makes quilts for the house, at least 20 a year or so if not more.  I'm sure if you contacted your local RMH and asked about making quilt, they would be interested in collecting from you.

Finally, I have finished my 'Fantasticmio' blanket.  Thanks for letting me test this, even though it took me ages.

I completed the majority of the squares in the car to work (not back - usually too tired). And I have finally pieced them together.  This was hard work, required much concentration as I forgot to join the pieces and had to re-work!! It is not a complicated pattern, just requires concentration. Despite laying the pattern out before joining and making sure there were no colours the same together, somehow in transferring it to piecing together I messed it up - very annoying!

Anyway, it has used up much stash that I had no other use for.

I think I will do another round of crochet edging to finish it nicely and probably hang fire on doing another for quite a while.  Please excuse the wonky laying out, I was so excited that I finished, I just wanted a picture.

oh wow!  I was about to congratulate Mio for doing another lovely blanket...and then I noticed it was YOU, Renstar!!!  I guess that means that you did great in making the Fantasticmio pattern blanket! Grin

Love the colors...and now that it is tested, will it soon be available for others to obtain? Wink

The baby blankets will go live in a week or so.  The adult blankets have been delayed as they take longer to test.

Love all the skully goodies!  I could use a few more dish mats like those pictured.  Would actually be a good practice sewing project for me.  The shopping bag is very sweet!  Just the right size for some treats.
The blanket is beautiful.  With all those little squares I would imagine it would be easy to get things confused!

Yes,Ashley loved it and played shopping all afternoon  Smiley
I'm lucky to be blessed with good neighbours,a couple of them are crafty too which is always a bonus as we swap stash & stuff. I often get baked goodies in exchange for hemming pants or sewing on patches  Grin

Love your "mio blanket" Renstar  Grin

Crazyda Pepa Pig looks like she is a huge hit with your nephew! well done!

Haven't been very productive in terms of crafting lately, but in terms of cleaning and organizing, it's going great - I've gone from 7 boxes/bags of random totes and mismatched storage to having 2 boxes of stuff to sort and 2 matching storage units!

To finish before September 8th
-paper mache surf boards
-60 gift bags
-60 zipper pouches
-beach themed quilt
-2 hawaiian dresses
-tiki bars

Looking for Sophia the first fabric and Frozen fabric (preferably flannel, but would settle for cotton) and Phoomph.  I'm in Canada and the companies are that I could order from charge $20-$30 shipping, so if anybody can find some and wants to swap/sell, I would be eternally greatfull.
