Hello Riechen! Lots of great stuff, my favorites are the earphone cozy and the camera strap. Both are useful and beautiful.

Bushbaby, I was blown away by your jewelry. The viking knit looks really good. the beaded 3D necklaces must have taken a long time too create.

Alwaysinmyroom, I love your socks.

Lindy, not my kind of yoga but it made me smile.

My first attempt at chip carving. I need better wood, not plywood. Carving was fun anyway.

Very nice job on the carving, especially considering it's your first attempt and done on plywood. Can't wait to see how much better you'll be when you have more experience and better wood if you're already this good. Excellent start!

@Underthemountain: I always thought roadside shrines were pretty common, at least in Catholic areas. There are so many shrines and chapels here in Flanders, mostly for the virgin Mary, but also Jesus and the Holy Heart.

It's been 34 days since I last crafted something!!! Guess that happens when you go on summer holidays. Yesterday though, I got out the sewing machine and made something once more. Project 32 of this year, 50 is starting to seem attainable!

I love that fabric...very neutral and perfect for a guy!

I think shrines are better respected in other countries...they probably would be vandalized here in the USA.  I know we have had a rash of cemetery vandalism, which I think is pretty shameful.  Sad, because I also think shrines along the road are a thing of beauty and calm.

I have been busy but so far, everything I have made is for swaps!  It will be a bit before I have anything to show.

I will just enjoy seeing what you guys make.

yoopidou--you seem to be exploring a lot of different things this year!  I was also wondering if you were going to stain your piece.  I know sometimes that is done to bring out the carved parts.
