I'll have to borrow my Mom's phone, as she actually remembered to take pics of my nieces in their "hawaiian party" outfits and jammies.  It was too cold to wear the stuff while camping, but it was perfect because all 3 girls had an unplanned sleepover at our house, so they all got to wear new jammies to bed and change in to new clothes in the morning - and smash the pinata - which was filled with playdough and crafty stuff, so a day of fun was had as well!  pics later of outfits, don't think we took one of the pinata:(

Love the music notes, the hats, the carved flowers and all the other cool and nifty stuff.

Looking for Sophia the first fabric and Frozen fabric (preferably flannel, but would settle for cotton) and Phoomph.  I'm in Canada and the companies are that I could order from charge $20-$30 shipping, so if anybody can find some and wants to swap/sell, I would be eternally greatfull.

So here are some pictures.

First is a hat for my mother. She used to do lots of crafting a few years ago but then fell ill and now it's kinda up to me to make her things like she used to for me.

The hat is actually my first attemt in basket weave stitch.

Then I made a sleeping mask for myself.

And another hat

yoopidou--you make the most unusual projects!  I remember those flowers when I was a child in the Alps!  I think you captured their essence with your carvings!  Will the wood bleach out to be more white?

thisusernameistaken--nice start!  I have not yet tried the basketweave...it looks like a lot of texture.

silvermoon is right...not a lot of rules here...well, three rules:

1. make lots of stuff
2. Post lots of pictures
3. Have fun! Grin

I am thinking of challenges for August/September...should have those up later today...

Use what talent you possess - the woods would be very silent if no birds sang except those that sang best
