The blanket reminds me of a stained glass window Smiley

Pinokeeo - Neat gourd sconce - would have never thought to do that.

Silver - pretty snowflakes!

I never would have thought to use the top of a gourd! Very nifty.  And pretty snowflakes!

I made this zakka style pillow for the Friends of Craftster raffle. Used linen and batik fabrics and did a simple spiral quilting to hold the circles down.

The back is just a simple envelope so that the pillow can be taken out and the top washed.

My partner in the Altered Spool Swap received this little tropical spool:

More details can be found here.

I finally send bushbaby a random yarn scarf for her charity.  I managed to get about six feet done.

That takes me to 75 projects at the half way mark--can you believe half of 2014 is almost gone?

I've just realised I haven't been getting any notifications for a while.

Now I'm all caught up.  Everyone is popping out some amazing crafts. I love them all.

I am in a bit of 'not finishing' mode. I am trying to do a couple of large things with deadlines, but it's actually sunny and warm here in the UK, (doesn't happen continuously that frequently), so I have been getting out on my bike to try and get fit.

What is a sconce pinokeeo?

And congratulations bunny1kenobi.

That altered spool is adorable, I love it! Very pretty pillow, and snuggly scarf, too.
I'm with you-where is the year going?

Must. Resist. Putting. Projects. On. Want. To. Try. List...

*grits teeth*

The only downside with being on this thread is all the things I desperately want to do know, starting with altered spools!  That tree/island/pirate theme is awesome!

Another swap package received, more projects to post...

These were for the Enchanted Woodland/Creatures swap.

Two dragonfly wrap bracelets:

An embroidered dragonfly needlebook:

A fairy door:

A Stenciled dragonfly shirt (originally swirly design!  One of a kind!  I'm certainly never cutting out that stencil again, it took forever!):

Fairy Bookmarks:

Then, while still slightly on the enchanted theme, I doodled myself a zombie fairy (based on a picture I saw while I was googling fairy picture ideas for the bookmarks):

And my friend saw the dragonfly stenciled shirt and wanted one, so I made her a dragon stenciled shirt (much simpler design, I learned my lesson!):

Thanks!

I'm now addicted to fairy doors... I've already made another and bought supplies for more!

I am trying to figure out how to turn my cat door into a fairydoor...I was just thinking of decorating around the opening...they kind of get freaked out if they can't see through the door, so I have to keep it clear...but I think I can stick a door knob on it...
