Plaidpineapple, I agree that pants are difficult. I admire them.

Jfer, what a great idea to create a shamrock pin with yarn!

K-K, stunning Canti. That's a lot of cross stitches!

Waggonswest, I love all your quilt projects and can't choose a favorite. They all have great colors and design.

Sheepblue, your baby items are adorable.

Bookstorebabe, lots of projects. My favorite are the clocks.

That1girl, the lace on your hat is really lovely.

Cursive-Queen, the colors of your quilt are just perfect.

Renstar, your skirt suits you well. I'm not too fond of sewing stretchy fabric either.

challenge february-march

I had troubles coming up with something purple or orange. then, I found frozen blackberries at the store. So, I bought three bags and made purple jam. The only part that i don't like is getting rid of all the seeds. I put the fruits in a blender then pass them through a mesh colander. If you have a better, easier, faster, smarter idea, please, I would love to hear it.

Youpidou - that looks delicious.

No helpful hints on de-seeding though.  Huh

mmmm Looks delicious...perfect with a peanut butter sandwich...

I take out seeds the same way you do...through a fine sieve...it is a pain but so worth it...

Wait, you can take seeds out of home-made jam?  My grandfather lied to me! He made raspberry jam all the time when I was a kid of the tasty but crunchy variety.  Yours looks super tasty yoopidou!

lol I hate the tiny seeds...they always seem to get caught...I only make seedless jams and jellies...blueberries are the most challenging.

Ah, ah, I understand your grandpa, it's so much more work going seedless.

Seedless blueberry jam? I hope my husband doesn't hear about that as he is quite happy with the regular one.

thank you very much.  Smiley

and yoopidou, that SEEDLESS blackberry jam looks divine.  I've always had seeded (which I do love), but I'm dying to try some seedless.

I did a personal swap with Breegy for all the images I used for the earrings I posted a while ago.  She asked for a shrine with either a typography or graphic design theme.  I went with typography and this is what I came up with for her.
